2025 Week #3 Weekly Goal Sharing! (Monday 01/13/25 - Sunday 01/19/25)
I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.

I wasted 3 days because of cough and cold. Still have. Couldn't get sick leave also but today managers were okay with me working intermittently. I understand the resource crunch so I didn't mind. After 3 days I'm feeling a bit better so I washed clothes. Got a call from a small company yesterday whose name I still don't recall. She took telephonic interview and said to schedule an interview tomorrow or on Monday so I'll have to push myself to study.
I got addicted to *** reels again. It is so difficult to not waste time there. I hate it that I'm able to watch instgram but when it comes to studying my brain says but u r sick u need rest.
So my this week's goals are :
1. Focus on work
2. Apply for jobs( i haven't sent mail for the job openings I found on posts last week)
3. Study for certification exam which I have failed once but will give it on Tuesday
4. Study for the interview very different from the certification exam I have
5. Stay away from *** as much as possible.
I know I'm going to have junk food this week as well just did and won't be able to read novel because I don't have time. So not putting it on list.
Also in the beginning of the week I was thinking that what's happening with me this year first ankle sprain then stomach upset and then cough and cold but yesterday I got news of a very talented make up artist of my age who had an accident after returning from vacation and lost her life . I felt bad and then I realised there's nothing to complaint about my life. I'm grateful that I'm alive.

I'm sorry you've been feeling bad, having sprained your ankle earlier too. All of that makes things legitimately harder to do. Excuses or no excuses, it simply makes things harder to do. So I have to commend you on pushing forward.
When I was a child, all our parents would tell us to quit watching TV and go outside to play. They would say things like if you sit too close, you're gonna go blind and that TV is gonna turn your brain into mush. Nowadays they call it too much screen time.
I never got sucked into screen time until recently. You might say, that I just discovered FB shorts.
So now I am very careful, because they are a form of enjoyment for me. (but also a form of addiction) I Make a decision before I start watching them. Can I afford the indulgence a reckless abandon and just be gluttonous with the fun stuff or am I gonna limit myself to a certain amount. It can be 3, 5, 10 etc. Most of the time for me it's between 3 and 5 just for a break from my monotonous tasks of the day. Still have to be careful, it's like any addiction.... crack that door just a little and it is possible to lose control. Just do your best for your own self.
Remember, too much screen time will turn your brain to mush. 😁

I can't do the three monthly reports I have left. My password for the application I pull the information from expired (didn't even know until I tried to login and couldn't) so now I have to wait for IT to fix it. Fortunately, the reports are small.
Today was difficult I initially felt tired and sleepy may be because I'm still recovering. Then I started feeling low, lonely and felt anxious about my future.
After a lot of self battle I made myself study for I guess 70 mins. And I realised I have done so little. The entire course is of 50 hrs almost and the exam is on Tuesday. Tomorrow I'll try my best but I really have to be on my toes on sun and Monday to get it done.
One slight advantage is that I have gone through the course in the month of July so it's new but not completely new. I may not be able to recall everything but I'm trying to understand as much as possible. I hate it that the product owners are using different terms for the same things for cloud product and on prem product. It's like if Americans eat apple and germans eat a red fruit called lapple so remember a new term lapple.
Frustrating but I'll do what I can
