so. my friend is trying to buy me a phone for Christmas and my dad is against that but I don't know how to deal with the situation when I do get it and I'm scared
Your friend's gesture is quite thoughtful, I feel, but if your father is against it then it seems like a tricky place to be in for you, @alexlemon, understandable why you'd feel conflicted here.

so due to social media it can cause depression and also me already having that it can make it worse for me and it also messes with the brainwaves that make you smarter
