Working my way up to running
So like the title says I want to be able to run without getting winded. I want to do this for several reasons. I want to be able to keep up with people, I want to lose weight/be physically healthy, and my two friends like running so this might become a shared interest.
I'm going to log my progress here and maybe get a motivation buddy.

I walked two laps around my block in 15 minutes.
I will figure out how far that is and post it in a reply.
I was also not walking very fast today because I am just starting, so I think I can probably do three if I try. I want to get up to four by next week.

Did not go on a designated walk at walk time today because I was at camp. Did lots of walking all day.
Got people into boats and out of them, rowed a row boat.
Am exhausted, going to sleep now.

I was in bed till noon, so I am going to move the designated walk time (dwt for short) from 9 to 10
We are going out to a car museum for Father's day, so will not be able to do dwt, but I will be walking around.
I got sun burn on the back of my arms, right below where my tee-shirt sleeves ended. Idk when I'm going to put aloe on it.

I upped the walk time to half an hour instead of 15 minutes, and I got 6 or 7 laps (I lost track)
I am hopefully getting a smart watch soon, the kind that measures your pulse and steps and sleep. Hope we can get that in less than 2 weeks cuz that's when I'm going to camp.
Once camp hits I won't be able to update this, so I will keep a journal and post when the week is done.

Did 5 laps today, it is really hot outside so I'm sweating.
I have to go take a NYS regents and I can't remember if I needed to bring more than a pen. I'm going to bring a water bottle and a sweatshirt because the gym is really cold.
We will probably go swimming later because it's really hot.
I hope you did well on your Regents exam. I remember how irritating it was to end the year that way, just as the weather became really nice. Keep moving!

Is really hecking late
I went tubing today and fell off, it was a relatively nice one tho.
I have another NYS regents tomorrow but this one is in the morning so I will have to disable my alarm, I'll also have to turn it back on.
I need to take a shower tomorrow morning because I have been in the pool and the lake without washing my hair. Ugh

I did shower this morning because I didn't last night, but we were rushing so I didn't even wash my hair and now it's all greasy. So I will be taking another shower
My body hurts from tubing yesterday and I had my test in the morning so I missed my walk and am not going to go on one today because that would be miserable

Did not go on a walk today. Woke up at noon, was a lazy duck (derogatory) did not do any chores either, was very proud of putting laundry in but didn't take it out. It was also humid as all ***

I didn't post yesterday because I didn't do anything.
Went on my walk at 11 and made 6 laps.
Still humid
I'm trying to just work up to long walks. I've started to take my dog out on walks in our yard, it's big. I've been doing several times a day and I feel like I'm making progress. I don't think I'll be running anytime soon, but it helps me get back on track and refocused. I work from home.

On the 23rd (Monday) I had my last test, it was math and I was pretty stressed but grades came out today and I did fine. And the next day I slept in and then played games with my grandma and cousin. Then I had to babysit, got a bit stressful but fine, slept for like half of the day the day after (yesterday), and now I'm babysitting them again.
So I have not gone on my walk for a couple days. And I will be going out to camp in like three days so I can't do it there. Um I'll start up again after camp. Because I need to be good at walking before I go to a big renn fair.
