Adulthood

Wolfgirl23 August 18th, 2023

I am learning that adulthood requires the courage to not only acknowledge the choices you make. The choices you make will welcome both positive and negative feed back. However, it does not mean that your choice is wrong, it means you have a difference in oppinion. You can make the right choice for you and make a mistake for someone else. It will bug you because it is your choice as an adult that others will question. You will second guess yourself, worry, get annoyed and keep the strong front behind a smile.

Here is the morivation to trust yourself. Instesd of second guessing, challenge it. If they say it is a mistake - prove them wrong. If they say you can’t - do it. If they push - push back. You are allowed to be right sometimes. You are allowed to try your way first.

Just remember those who love you may phrase things things poorly causing misscomunication.

Powerful realization! 💛

A lot of people will tell us a lot of things but it's so important to trust ourselves for knowing what's better for us and doing right by us! Do you and do For you! 💛

Very sage insight. It seems to be true, that the ones we hope to get approval from the most are the ones that more frequently dismiss or ridicule our efforts.

It's important not to take it personal just because they don't understand. They don't have to understand. Only you have to understand your heart and vision to follow it through, against all the setbacks and discouragements, regardless of where they come from.

Thank you, what inspired me to write to write this post was that I was facing something negative wasn’t meant to be negative. I’m always for the positive. However, this has always been my life people question me or just don’t understand me. I accept the challenges gracefully, sometimes proving myself right, sometimes proving myself wrong, but I am always ready to fight for what I want. My choices, my mistakes, my victories, my failures, I own them.

I understand 1000%. To this day I'm still very confused. I have finally figured out that people want loving and empathetic acknowledgement instead of a solution minded action. Which is totally acceptable and understandable but there's no need to not be proud of other people that are trying to do better things and succeeding.

I'm also very positive and if I complain about something, or even if I don't, I love to hear other peoples advice and solutions and ways to get around it.

Expecting other people to have that same mindset has caused me a world of pain and grief that I still suffer with today in my attempt to navigate society. So we can't listen to other people, often two faced and phony, which is kind of sad.
