Affirmations do they work/work for you?
Do you believe in or say/listen to affirmations? Do you write daily affirmations, I just started to learn about them and not too sure if they work for me or not. Just throwing a line out there to see others take on affirmations and how to have them work/work better for me and those who say affirmations. Have a great day/night. - MelanieDaniels63
I personally tried them for about a year and got nothing out of them. I have had friends utilize them and they are now doing quite well! You’ll have to keep at it and find out. I wish you the best of luck :)
I love them! I'll post links later of my favorite affirmations from YouTube. I can't do it now. Too tired, phone dying.
Affirmations make me feel better in the moment. I'm still working on long term effects.

Hey Melanie!
Hmm... I think the answer to that question isn't as straightforward as it might appear.
First, I think we need to establish how affirmations work. From my understanding, it's important to remember that affirmations don't help to manifest an unmanifested reality; rather, they simply help us break out of negative-thought loops to give us the motivation we need to manifest the reality we desire.
Have affirmations worked for me? On their own, no. In conjunction with action, yes. Affirmations I think are most beneficial when we weave them into a plan of action we come up with to make a positive change. They provide micro-doses of encouragement when we misstep or stumble, but ultimately, I find that they must fuse with our willingness to act to bear fruit.
I would say that it is a good practice to cultivate, as long as we are clear of its purpose and limitations 😊
