Mindful March
I came across to this really nice thing and feel that together we can practice these simple, sweet and really rewarding things this March.
For each day of month, there will be one simple, little thing to do. You can do them in your own convenience and share your experience with us in this thread e.g. you can share how you felt, what you encountered, share a pic if you like etc.
I will be posting the tasks for each week on the first day of that week throughout this Mindful March. (Source)
Week 1 (March 1- March 7)
Day 1: Start today by appreciating that you are alive and have a body.
Day 2: When someone is speaking, take a full breath before you reply.
Day 3: Stay fully present while drinking your cup of tea or coffee.
Day 4: Go nature spotting today. Even in a city, life is all around.
Day 5: Eat mindfully. Appreciate the taste, texture and smell of your food.
Day 6: Feel the cool of a breeze or the warmth of the sun on your face.
Day 7: Look around and spot 3 things you find unusual or pleasant.

Day 15: Get outside and notice five things that are beautiful.
We are going to my son's track and field event tonight.
Day 17: Have a device-free day and enjoy the space it offers.
I don't think many people would be able to do this one. I know why MD's and kids and famility I can't do this one.

Week 4 (March 22- March 31)
Day 22: Take an unusual route and notice what's different.
Day 23: Mentally scan down your body and notice what it is feeling.
Day 24: Make a list of amazing things that you take for granted.
Day 25: Put devices away and really focus on who you're with.
Day 26: Tune in to your feelings, without judging or trying to change.
Day 27: As you walk, notice the sound of each step and how it feels.
Day 28: Stop work earlier and use the time to be still and relax.
Day 29: Listen to how you speak to yourself. Try to use kind words.
Day 30: Bring to mind all the people you love and care about.
Day 31: Every hour simply take three calm breaths in and out.

Day 21: Notice when you are tired and take a break as soon as possible.
When I get tired I try to process stuff and send an email to my therapist about the issue then jump on the tv/movie or something else on the pleasant activities list.

it is very helpful to have such a list, can be like going into "a restaurant and choosing from the menu".
I took a different route home today. It was longer but way more scenic. All of the beautiful trees with their white flowers branching upward to the sky. Little less traveled road with few cars up and down the highway. Spotted some road kill that the buzzards were swarming over. I thought they were wild turkeys.......LOL The atmosphere was so calm and the skies are gray yet it's a beautiful day

...trees branching upward to the sky. By your words i can imagine the road, small, some sort of "coziness" attached to it.
What I have tried these things and they really don't help what else can I try?

it must be frustrating trying so much and not seeing the results you expect. I hope you will find a way soon to make you feel better.
