Cleansing exercise

DavidEss November 6th, 2018

I very often do a cleansing exercise at the start of my daily meditation. My current favourite is called 'the middle pillar exercise ' from Western Qabalah. It can be as simple or as complicated as you want, and takes about 10 minutes.

Marc Allen has a simple version on Youtube.

One of the reasons I do this is that it usually takes me ten minutes to settle down anyway, so I think I might as well do something useful!

Hi David, sorry for replying so late to your post ๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ’š, however when reading it today I was so impressed that I like to reply and wanted to thank you for drawing our attention to his exercise. I personally find it very useful to open the chakras and will certainly try to do it much more often. How often do you usually do it?

For some years I did it every day. Now, although I meditate nearly every day, I probably average 3 times a week.

Don't forget the closing bit at the end, though. Wrap up well!

David, when I started cleaning the chakras I was not aware how important it is to close them but learned that after some time.

Also, I don't usually bother with the abundance stuff Mark talks about, that's something he has tacked on.
