Shame

How do I live with the shame of being an asexual person. I live in a country where stigma sometimes exists and I was shamed in my secondary school and primary school. I feel okay right now but it still hurts me and frustrates me when I think about it.

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. There is no shame in being asexual. It’s who you are and besides everyone is different. I feel the first step is accepting who you are and embracing it. You’ve made it this far, what have you got to lose?

I don't think, being that way is a shame. I'm a straight person and my opinion is that- Being asexual has its advantage. You won't have thoughts related to it or dumb desires constantly annoying you.
You can see people as normal ones without any attraction. So that helps a lot to focus on what you wanna do, and you won't have distractions. Your mind won't be clouded in unnecessary thoughts.
I feel that asexuals are like 🗿 (chads) as they don't have those kind of distractions.
Its just my opinion though. I just wanted to share. I'm sorry if i had said something wrong.
