Ace Representation
Hey y’all! I was just wondering if anyone had any good recommendations of movies/shows with asexual characters. It can be canon or headcanon I don’t care.
The only characters I can recall being canon ace from anything I’ve watched are Drea from Everything’s Gonna Be Okay and Yelena Belova from Black Widow. Of course I’ve got a ton of headcanons (my faves are Wanda Maximoff and Elsa) but I really want to see more asexual characters in the media.

Hello Grace, thank you for your question and I admit that I don't have any answers for you, but I'm glad that you're here. And I mostly am replying because I loved Yelena and I admit that I cry almost all the time that Wanda is in a scene (ok, in the films - I didn't cry at _every_ episode of WandaVision).
I'm happy to hear from you, and I am glad for your inquiry.
Jeff
@lizzieolsenswife,
I loved the ace icons you've mentioned ( Elsa is ace for me too )
Some of my non canon ace characters would be :
Minerva McGonagall : love her. The sass, the power and the transfiguration.
SpongeBob : duh !
Jughead from Archie's comics. I can relate to jughead and his love for food in a spiritual manner. Though I don't eat sweet that often, food is food.
Eri : okay, this is a character from a webtoon comic called as 'Friends with benefit. They're gender fluid and asexual, and I love how to story goes. Here's the link to that comic if you want to read it :

Sabine : again this is a webtoon comic ( I love webtoon btw , they're second stop if I don't have much time to read my usual novels ) the comic is about the things she go through mainly when she's in college in a comical tone
I guess that's it for me. I'll edit this if I find some more .
Cheers !
I think the only canon rep I know (that hasn't been mentioned) are Todd Chavez from Bojack Horseman and Florence from Sex Education. As for headcanons, I hear some people headcanon Todoroki (my hero academia) as ace. I think that's valid.
Hey, if you are into anime/want to give it a try, these are some of my headcanons:
// Light Yagami & L (Death Note)
// Levi Ackerman (Attack on Titan)
// Saiki Kasuo (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.)
I have a few more I imagine as grey or demisexual.
For movies beside Frozen:
// Merida (Brave)
// Frodo & Bilbo Baggins (LotR & The Hobbit)
I would like to know what you all think about Sherlock Holmes in the BBC Series? I always pictured him as ace/aroace and to me his “relationship” with Irene Adler seemed somewhat “off” idk …
But these are all fictional characters, so as long as it’s not canon we will probably never know what the creators had in mind and without headcanons we unfortunately would get hardly any representation at all.
Elsa from the movie frozen and Moana from the movie Moana
