@GlenM
1. i really liked the poem introduced in the introduction, the origin of the name of the site <3 i though that it fit really well for the site and it's just a lovely poem :) i also love that the introduction stated that personal growth takes time which is completely true for everyone ! <3
2. isolating yourself and keeping yourself away from others may be what you want, but not what you need <3 though you may think it'll make you happy and be good for you, being alone will most likely end up hurting you in the long run
3. we can learn and help others get more comfortable with asking for help and knowing it is essential by asking those people how they're doing on your own. i believe that when you keep doing this, they'll understand that it is okay t o talk about those things and reach out for support. help them get comfortable and give them time-- show them compassion, but make sure to set boundaries for this as well !
@GlenM
I think the thing that most stood out to me was that the personal growth isn't always linear it's about giving and leaving grudges for good.
I think it is very important to understand for anyone that it is OK to ask for help it does not make you weak, when you isolate yourself your anxiety will increase it will be detrimental for mental health.it's OK to love and trust others it is secret cure.
I think asking help makes us human asking for help is skill now . We are all social creatures we all need someone and it's ok it's part of us, so I encourage members to be themselves because I am just like them I have weaknesses I have strength just like them.
@GlenM
1. What was the thing that stood out to you most in the introduction?
The part that stood out the most in the introduction is that this book is about providing an understanding and skills needed to navigate through the fears and concerns in life. The book is about making us aware on how to tackle problems and understand one’s strengths. This book is about making one understand how to care for people around you.
2. What was  most important lesson
you learned from the story of Ancora (Chapter 1)? Â Â
When fear persists, problem grows, and the only cure is care and compassion.
3. How can we learn and help others get more comfortable with the idea that asking for help - or experiencing need - is a strength or a skill that we need to develop to help one another grow stronger?
By being empathetic and open towards understanding one’s needs. By making them comfortable so that they can understand and share their needs and ask for help.
What was the thing that stood out to you most in the introduction?
I felt that the introduction was really warm and friendly. I think some points that really stood out were that everyone can grow through their challenges. We can learn and grow to become better kinder people. The purpose of the book and cups isn't to judge anyone. This is to help people and I like how it empathizes with people that personal growth is not easy. I think that it can be really hard so being able to acknowledge that but also show that it can be done is nice. I also really enjoyed the poem by Lu Tong.
2. What was the most important lesson you learned from the story of Ancora (Chapter 1)?
One lesson was that there is a difference between bottling and hiding your emotions and confronting them. While it might seem like the better and easier option to suppress how we feel, in the long run, it is very detrimental. It's okie to acknowledge that we need help and that it's okay to ask for it. If you can't receive help then you can not get help and without receiving help it can be harder to give the best support to others.
3. How can we learn and help others get more comfortable with the idea that asking for help - or experiencing need - is a strength or a skill that we need to develop to help one another grow stronger?
By offering support and being a listening ear we show others that we are there for them and that it's okie to ask for help. By being a listener we have a chance to build trust, give hope and grow love. We also have to be aware of when we need help and support. In order for us to be able to spread compassion and empathy and be helpful to others, we must be able to put aside our own fears and insecurities to get help.
What stood out to me about the introduction was that it was speaking right to me because of the way it was wrote and how completely accurate it is to me. The important lesson that I got from chapter 1 is that we shouldn’t judge or make any notions about people because we don’t know what they are going through. One way we can help get others comfortable is by listening to the other person about their fears and making sure that we are fully listening to the member to help them grow stronger.
1-What was the thing that stood out to you most in the introduction?
The most special thing about the introduction is providing us with the skills and understanding we need to move from anxiety and fear to the life your heart desires, how to solve and overcome problems so that you can unlock the hidden gifts they contain and an important point also about how to harness the nourishing power of love by caring for others around you. !
2-What was  most important lesson you learned from the story of Ancora (chapter 1)?  Â
The most important lesson I learned from Ancora story is that mental viruses like fear and pain don't solve the problem, they just mask it. The more people try to escape from their pain and fear, the more sensitive they become to the smallest disturbances of their day, and thus viruses continue to spread! Trying to avoid fear creates more fear and makes it worse, but it's hard to admit that and ask for help.
3-How can we learn and help others get more comfortable with the idea that asking for help- or experiencing need- is a strength or a skill that we need to develop to help one another grow stronger?
I learned that the need forces you to face your problems and ask for help in solving them. Once you get help, you feel better and want to help others. If you are ashamed to admit that you have a problem, you cannot ask for help. If you cannot ask for it, you cannot get it! Without receiving real help, we may find it difficult to sincerely help others, and therefore asking for help helps us grow and develop.
Thank you❤️
1. What was the thing that stood out to you most in the introduction?
It is honest and warming way to start a book. I shows core values of 7cups.
2. What was  most important lesson you learned from the story of Ancora (Chapter 1)?  Â
i think most important lesson from the story is everyone has fears and insecurities to conquer.
3. How can we learn and help others get more comfortable with the idea that asking for help - or experiencing need - is a strength or a skill that we need to develop to help one another grow stronger?
The first thing is we should be comfortable with is get help for ourself. There are guides in here and online so we can learn it. In society one person cant do all things by oneself so as a community we can thrive.
@GlenM
1. What was the thing that stood out to you most in the introduction?
One of the main things that stood out to me the most in reading the introduction was understanding that personal growth is not easy. Rather, it is different for everyone and there is no straight line. You will experience ups and downs, and that is completely natural! It’s okay to ask questions and feel lost, but it’s even more important to not lose sight of the end goal!
2. What was the most important lesson you learned from the story of Ancora (Chapter 1)?
The most important lesson that I learned is the circle – need forces you to face your problems and to ask for help in solving these problems. Once you receive the help, you feel better and want to help others. This process creates healing, and it is a wonderful circle to implement into your life.
3. How can we learn and help others get more comfortable with the idea that asking for help - or experiencing need - is a strength or a skill that we need to develop to help one another grow stronger?
I think that it’s important to create an environment that feels welcoming so that others can feel comfortable opening up. Also, I think that we can help others get more comfortable by sharing our own personal experiences and becoming well situated with the process of asking for help so that we can advocate it to others.
@GlenM
1. What was the thing that stood out to you most in the introduction?
- Something that stood out to me is the idea that we are here to support each other.
2. What was  most important lesson you learned from the story of Ancora (Chapter 1)?  Â
- An important lesson that I learn is that it is important to be open in order to heal. Bottling things out doesn’t make the situation better.
3. How can we learn and help others get more comfortable with the idea that asking for help - or experiencing need - is a strength or a skill that we need to develop to help one another grow stronger?
We can learn and help other get more comfortable with the idea that asking for help/experiencing need is a strength or a skill that we need to develop to help one another grow by destroying the idea that you must do things yourself. As a society, we take pride in doing things on our own which is why it is hard for people to ask for help when they encounter a situation. By applying a working together system, it will be easier to ask for help.

The first sentences of the Welcome Message made me feel so comfortable and safe! I felt like I was talking to a great friend of mine! I also love how it says get yourself a hot cup of tea and I was just thinking I needed one! I found it very comforting!
Not many people like for asking help, even if they know they need it. People sometimes feel that problems should be hidden and kept out of sight which is a pretty wrong approach! This actually makes me sit quietly in their place suffering. It breaks my heart to know that some people right now, somewhere on the planet feel alone suffering from their own problems. I hope they can find someone to spread some light to their dark days because they do deserve it!
I feel like we should first let them know that we are there for them. It's not easy for them to open up, so we just need to ensure them that we will be there for them if they need us. We have to make them feel comfortable and safe. It's not easy to always feel safe to share your secrets and issues. Asking open-ended questions and showing validation to what they are saying can definitely help! Also, we have to reflect to what they are saying so they can think about the stuff that they are saying and have a better understanding of their situation.
