Celebrations act as motivators. In these shared moments, we reflect on what we’ve accomplished, mobilize around where to head next, and give our tanks a much-needed refill. WHY are we getting everyone together?
Spend time thinking about the intention of your celebration before getting caught up in the logistics. How does this celebration help your community grow? A clear goal (like revitalizing Star Wars fandom) brings clarity to other decisions, like format.
HOW will we incorporate our community’s special sauce?
Indulge in expressions of your community’s identity. Ask: What are your badges? Rep them together. What are your rituals? Participate in them as a group. Got any quirky terminology? Use it!
WHAT have we accomplished together? How can we reflect on those achievements?
As a leader, you may be the only person who can see and bring your community’s collective impact to life.

I got 8/10 by messing up a couple of responses. I did it again and got 10/10.
In messing up those responses I guess I rushed through it.
It's exciting being at the finish line and accomplishing this.
