The Grove of a Spruce Tree 🌲
Hello! You can call me Spruce. I just discovered this interesting diary entry section of 7 Cups, and this is something I’ve been looking for. I need a place where I can spill out all of my thoughts without criticism, and that’s not something I can really rely on through 1:1 chats (even though I haven’t been here for that long, it’s my upfront impression).
I would prefer to keep this as a space for myself, but if anyone would like to send supportive comments for my post, just dive right in! I don’t mind at all 😊
So for anyone who may be reading this, there may be some rough topics such as family stress, severe self-hate, and some pretty graphic flashbacks (but not too graphic). I will try my best not to make this an inappropriate space, but I just wanted to give a heads up just it case it starts getting to that point.

Today was an okay day overall! It was pretty mellow, and my parents didn’t really argue today, which was actually the first time in a while. I was honestly really relieved, and as you could tell from the series of pfp’s, I was pretty content 😌
Sooooo, that has to mean that the rest of my favorite month better be good, since today was one of the best days in such a long time ❤️❤️❤️ Maybe tomorrow, I’ll be able to submit a few assignments without feeling too stressed, and also go back to listening Lo-Fi music instead of my mood music. That would be suchhhhh a relief 😊
And, I only came on a few times to the group chats, which was actually some progress compared to the past few weeks. That means I’m giving myself time to take care of myself instead of automatically coming on the group chats, which is pretty important. ❤️
But probably the best part of it all was that I’m actually trying to make an effort to manage my emotions a bit better. As you may have noticed, I have been making posts that include poems, quotes, and songs that align with my mood and irl situation. Having that way to express myself makes me feel more honest about my emotions, and by doing that, I’ll be able to manage them in a whole new way. Just accepting that have emotions is a whole new step for me, as I never really emphasized them in the past. ❤️❤️
Since I am in such a good mindset right now, I feel so optimistic about how my healing journey is going. I haven’t been always in the best position at home, school, or really anywhere, so having a place where I can feel confident about who I am as a person is such a game-changer for me! As always, I want to thank my lovely friendsies for believing in me, even at my low points, because you are the people who are constantly changing my life for the better. 🤗 ❤️

May is treating me pretty good overall - even though I’m having the usual emotional roller coaster, the weather is absolutely gorgeous, and it’s great to get out into the natural world once again ❤️❤️

It’s time for an entryyyyyy, finally 😌

Today was mostly a really good day! 😊❤️❤️ Things are finally looking up for me, even though they are pretty small steps. I really did the best I could to focus on my schoolwork, and it was pretty successful overall. I spent the whole morning working on a few assignments, and even though I didn’t completely finish them, I’m soooooo proud of myself for even being able to start them. That means that the depressive episode I’ve been drowning in…it’s lifting finallyyyy 😮❤️
I’ve been waiting for this day! I won’t keep my hopes up too much, just in case this is a false alarm, but I’m reallyyyy happy 😊 Maybe I’ll actually will be able to get my schoolwork done before the summer after all, if I can keep making progress. I want to be able to relax after I finish each day at the university for my summer internship - I’ll be working really hard to get my research project done, and I don’t want *any* distractions. And plussssss, I won’t have to deal with my parents to much, omg ❤️❤️❤️
I haven’t felt this excited for sooooo long, and I just want the summer to come alreadyyyyy ❤️ (That’s also when my precious angelic sister, @Angelx28 , is coming back faster her exams, weeeeee 🤗 ❤️) *dances* Things are really looking up…I can’t believe it ❤️❤️
Even though I did regress around 30 minutes ago due to a lot of environmental tension, I was able to recover pretty quickly (within around 10 minutes, which is so much better than before) 😀 Yayyyyyyy 🤗 ❤️
Omg, I can’t forget about getting ready for the next school yearrrrrr ❤️ I’m getting my schedule ready next year, and I’ll be taking the classes I actually wantttttt to take 😛 AP Chem, AP Physics, and Precalculus Honors - here I comeeeeeeeee ❤️❤️❤️ I’m beyond excited - this means I won’t get bored and actually get mentally challenged, which I reallyyyyyy need right now. My schoolwork is so boring, and it’s getting to the point that I don’t even want to do any of it ;-; But I haveeee to get it done ❤️ I just want to get it all over with, and I don’t care about the grades I get (except for my Precalc work, of course - the most challenging, yet exciting, course 😛)
Overall, things are going really great right now, and I don’t want this feeling to everrrrr go away ❤️❤️
