Thought it might be a good idea to have my own thread where I can think things out and rant without feeling guilty about invading other peoples spaces.

@ThePizza Hey M :) Hard to believe it's June already. Guess you're probably getting ready to head off to college and all that good stuff. I just wanted to say how proud I am of you. I know you struggled to get to this point but you did it. I wish so many good things for you. I hope you do great in college and find the career of your dreams. I hope you're surround by people who love and appreciate you for the warm wonderful person you are ❤️

Thank you so much,,, I can’t believe I’m at this point. I feel like it took forever but at the same time it’s gone by so fast. Truly you have been an inspiration to me, and such a wonderful friend (well, friends :’) ). Today was the day it all became official

@ThePizza I love the pic 😊 Omgosh has it really been five years? It doesn't feel that long. It's been an honor to know you M. I still remember when you made that wonderful list of distractions for me. You have no idea how much it touched me that you would put so much time into helping someone you didn't know. I'll never forget that. Reading your words as time passed - catching glimpses of you growing as a person into the wonderful young person you are now. Thank you for all the music you shared and all the books you suggested. Stay awesome. Always be true to yourself. I wish you all the best M - We all do ❤️
Time flies by whether you’re having fun or not
And truthfully I couldn’t tell you which is the more dominant of the two
It feels almost forever ago
Since the last I spoke with you
Looking back it seems absurd that I should part without a fuss
When in the end I always knew for me coming back would be a must
They say that time will heal all wounds but in my experience at least
The distance only serves to briefly numb you from the grief
Do I continue to let go and let these sands slip through the cracks?
Or should I hold on tight and build back up what we once had in the past?
To let the embers turn to ash seems a statement that it was all a waste
When in reality for me this was a most important space
And I hope that you’ll forgive how I’ve been gone for oh so long
In truth, I know you always will, because our hearts share the same songs
But I still offer my uncertainty to try and show how I’m still lost
In the end, it is for you I try to be gentle with myself and my thoughts
