Not new to the topic, but happened to me more like a gut feeling the some rational process. Maybe because someone never were never there for me... ? IDK.
I just gave up on seeking for other people and started working on become a better version of me, for myself... Imagined, planned, who would make my child self proud.
When I noticed, I felt like not needing other people validation anymore. *shrughs*
I guess that is the part of "being enough" we don't get when people talk at first.

By putting myself first. As the saying suggests, you cannot pour from an empty cup, meaning taking care of myself first before I take care of others. Some of my self care techniques are journaling, practicing a hobby, moving my body(physical activity)
