Creativity takes Courage.

Creativity:

Creativity :the quality of being creative ~ Merriam Webster.

What is Creativity?
Is it the parameter for gauging how competitive a human is or Is it about discarding every conventional modus operandi? Maybe.
But as I see it, It is connecting not competing. Connecting to the old ideas and helping them improve. It is the fundamental skill required for problem-solving. It has freshness in it and it doesn't matter if it's not original but inspired. I would like to quote Mark twain :
 "There is no such thing as a new idea. We simply take a lot of old ideas and put them into a sort of mental kaleidoscope."

 "All ideas are second-hand."

Well, Sometimes when I feel too lazy to do the things I find a way to get it done without any toil and that's also in my definition of being creative. Creativity is Rejuvenation of the already existing ideas. On the other hand, I believe that Creativity demands zeal and enthusiasm. Counterintuitive.

Creativity is the CHANGE in old ideas to make a CHANGE in old problems. Creativity takes COURAGE. To think of a new way takes courage, to have full confidence and trust in it before the people's validation takes courage and to stay intact on your idea to bring change takes courage.

Creativity is fun, it never lets you feel boredom, and it comes out of you when you are feeling bored.

What do you think?
What is more important while being creative,
the originality of the inspiring idea or the Inspiration of the original idea?

What is the goal of creativity, discarding or twisting the old ideas?

This is a nice little article you wrote. (:

-I think it depends, because sometimes inspiration can directly be utilised to achieve something while in other times it's better to add something else to it, not just to base it on this one inspiration alone.

-Most of the time, it's more like twisting old ideas. Using the word you mentioned, it can be used to 'rejuvenate' certain ideas.

@Katharsis22

Thank you Katharsis for reading!

I appreciate your insight.

Yes it's most of the times only rejuvenation of the existing ideas.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I really like how you frame ideas and creativity.

Personally, I think the goal of "twisting the old ideas" is to give thoughts life. Like us, they grow and change. We add our own utility to them, we personalize them, or keep them up to date. They become a part of ourselves, an extension of our body. A good example is with cars, they're always changing but the core idea is the same. These machines are extensions of our bodies and our desires; which is why the inspiring idea is so important, mobility. Though the innovations that improved on the idea of automobiles gave it more utility for a greater number of people, like with vehicles for persons with disabilities.

I have observed that all your standpoints are exceptional. The example of cars that you have shared, I love that. And the idea that we add our utility to the ideas looks unique to me. I second you on the thought that machines are extensions of our bodies and our desires.

@mineofroses love this I'm working on this currently. I have no reason for any of the things incorporated in it, it's just things I like and colors. Completely original and off the top of my head  picsart-24-08-25-23-58-59-851_1725306961.jpg

@LovelyForever6990

hey Lovely...

This art piece of yours is phenomenal. The hair of the ice cream and the candy that's acting as plaits is lovely.

Diamonds + Dynamite; what an offbeat combination. I love it.
