A fun fact for you! Did you know that cats only have around 480 taste buds on their tongue, (compared to over 9000 taste buds for humans!) and because of this they can't taste sweetness!

Which means sorry cats... No cookies for you :(

Cats have routines they like to follow, I have a couple different cats in the neighbourhood who visit my garden too, but they only visit on certain days at certain times. So it could be that. If they are owned by another family, then it is likely because they spend most their time with their family, visiting you sometimes when they're outside. If they're stray then they can be very anxious of people and possibly don't know that they could stay, they will check for food every few days since they know you've done that before, but otherwise they will stick to what they know is safe - safe place to sleep and other places that are giving out food. They probably visit other people too for food. So one day they go to you, but the next they know someone else is leaving food, or they can find it from elsewhere. And if they do live with another family and they're not stray, we'll they're already being fed twice a day so they don't need to return at all really. Sometimes it just takes time to get a cat (stray or not) to trust you. Some cats that visit me let me play with them and pet them, some only let me play with them, some just like to sit a distance away. The answer really depends on the cat tbh, they're all different.

Oh no, allergies are the worst ☹️ you can get hypoallergenic cats though! Sometimes they're good for people with pet allergies

I love kitties too! All of them! Every member of Feliformia, mongooses, hyenas, viverrids too! I have a Pinterest board and a thread on another forum 1. used for cat photos. 2. for cat videos. But I don't think I'm allowed to link off-platform stuff, but here's some pictures anyways:

If you have any pet kitties, I've love to add them to a game I'm developing! (As I'm planning to make cartoon versions of my friends cats to implement them in my creations) If you don't mind, that is :3

I LOVE tigers, they're so incredibly beautiful! They're the largest cat species in the world! Amur (siberian) tigers are the largest type of tiger and can be up to 10ft long (nose to tip of tail), can be 2-3ft at the shoulder and 670lbs! Which is huge 🙀

However, there used to be a European Cave Lion (now extinct) which is suggested to be the largest cat that ever lived. It was 25% larger than modern lions - it stood over 4ft at the shoulder! They would have been 700lbs+. It went extinct around 12,000 years ago towards the end of the last ice age.

Those snow leopards are ADORABLE with their tails in their mouths 🥺🥺🥺 oh my goodness that is too cute!

Cats can drink sea water in order to survive if they had to as their kidneys can filter out salt, where as ours cannot.

A cat’s purr vibrates at a frequency of 25 to 150 hertz, which is the same frequency at which muscles and bones repair themselves - so it's self healing! How cool! 😁😺

Aw! Cute cat! The one in the gif looks like a munchkin cat - they have very short legs and low slung bodies. The first ones were bred in the 1980s in the US. Their short legs arose as a random mutation which the breeders then preserved. They're generally a very friendly breed and highly sociable and playful - they run like ferrets and sometimes sit on their hind legs like rabbits 😅
