What's your most recent achievement?
i didnt procrastinate on my first 2 assigments for this semester.
@inattentiveBeing - Way to go! Procrastination is a hard habit to break, but makes such a difference when you can actually get started on time! :)
@inattentiveBeing Great job!
today, I chatted with a friend I haven't spoken to in ages. I thought things might be weird because we haven't spoken in a while because I tend to neglect friendships when I'm down. My worries were totally unfounded, though! We met up and talked for hours and have made plans to meet again tomorrow. It's easy to withdraw from the world, but today I was reminded that there are people who care about me no matter what I might think!
I updated my website [edited by Anomalia to remove link] with a member from my board of Directors for The Film Hope Foundation :)
i managed to tell someone about what's going on in my life that i previously kept secret.
@kudryavka
That's great! I've been working on doing that in my life too, and sometimes it can be really difficult.
I finally just got my Red P's (I'm Australian) after 6 years as a learner. I can finally take myself to all my appointments and stop feeling guilty and a burden on my family
@Afraidturtle - I'll confess that I have no idea what Red P's are, but it definitely sounds like a relief to have gotten there, and I'm so happy for you!
@Anomalia thank you.
Red P's are a part of getting you driving licence in Australia. But im actually happy to finally get them
I'm afraid I haven't achieved anything in life since 2014. Even if I did I always think of it as something that's not too big that everyone is able to do and that's absolutely nothing compared to what people in my age achieve. I'm always underestimating myself on this point.
@Raya501
I think little things, even getting out of bed is an achievement, looking for help online too ;) Expressing how you feel is also an achievement, so congrats for that!
@HeliosSolace11 Thanks for your comment. I agree with you, but whenever I compare myself to other people, I utterly laugh at myself and be like "look what people do in their lives, and you thought getting out of the house for the day was an achievement" I know it's wrong but I just got used to doing that along with self-hating too.
I have made a decision to live my life without the chaos of some people in my life, they will either get help for their psychological issues or I will move on with my kids without them.
@jr50 - Not an easy decision to make, but it sounds like one that is good for you and your family, so I'm proud of you!
@Anomalia. Thank you, now the hardest part to get a job and get a place to live, u am terrified, but I would loose who I am if I stayed.
@jr50 I'm so glad you made this decision! This will reduce your stress levels and increase your levels of happiness! My father did this recently and he seems much happier.
@safeandsoundta. Thank you, I really need less stress, I am scared , but I need to do this, I feel life is passing me by.
@jr50 You're welcome. You're gonna be fine; try to surround yourself with more positive people in the future. This is such an important, beneficial change you're making.
Staying alive!
@OliveCar4161 - Woohoo! :)
@Anomalia lol a great achievement!
