@jasishereforallofu No, I haven't owned any pets in years. The one I truly miss is Buddy, the last dog I had. He was a Maltese...looked like yours but was maybe 2/3rds your dog's size. Technically he was my mother's dog but he liked me more. Actually that's an understatement--he made me his demigod. For me, that was a first!... Buddy barked his head off & jumped straight up like a startled rabbit every time I came home. He loved my dad, too...Buddy was always a "guy dog". His loyalty was unquestionable. He'd hang around as long as we'd let him, was always underfoot, begged at the table until I trained him to wait...

Buddy was cute, as most toy breed dogs are. He was a pain in the a**, & I loved him. He died in 2014 & every so often, I still miss the little lint ball.
