Games we should know about?

peachicus October 30th, 2016

Does anyone have some fresh finds, something super juicy and damn right sensational that we simply must know? Well I don't know about you guys but I need to know! I've got a couple gaming nuggets some of you might be interested in too wink

The Final Station

Trailer: click here

"Travel by train through a dying world. Look after your passengers, keep your train operational, and make sure you can always reach the next station. Make your way through swarms of infected at each station. Explore mysterious and abandoned stations looking for supplies and survivors."

A short but fantastically made indie title with some beautiful music and pixel design, developed by a small team Do My Best Games from Russia.

Kingdom: New Lands

Trailer: Click here

Tales spread of far off isles with mysteries waiting to be discovered. Rulers will need all the strength of their subjects to sail away and find new kingdoms in these New Lands.

"Kingdom: New Lands builds upon the award-winning gameplay and mystery of Kingdom by introducing an abundance of new content to the IGF-nominated title while maintaining the simplicity and depth that legions of monarchs have come to experience and enjoy. Travel to the New Lands and welcome the deluge of new mounts, merchants, and vagrants that call these isles home, but be wary of the new obstacles that threaten your arrival -- for not just the greedy creatures block your way but even the environment itself can defeat you.

Be brave, ruler, and fight to the bitter end, lest these New Lands conquer you instead."

A minimalist strategy game with beautiful scenery and fantastic soundtrack, really worth a buy!

Thanks for the recommendations! I'll definitely check them out! My latest favorite is INSIDE, a puzzle-platformer adventure game by Playdead.

These may not be new games but they are some lesser hyped video games that I really loved

LostWinds is a 2008 platform video game developed by Frontier Developments and published for the Wii as a launch title for WiiWare

Leo's Fortune is a video game for iOS, Android, Windows Phone and the Amazon App Store developed by 1337 & Senri LLC. The title character is a mustachioed "fluff ball" roly-poly with a thick Eastern European accent.

Game of Thrones is an episodic graphic adventure fantasy drama video game based on the George R. R. Martin A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy novel TV adaptation Game of Thrones

WATCH DOGS 2!

You've probably heard of it already but it's had a slow start due to the stigma left by the first game which I also was very disappointed with. When I first saw WD2 advertised, I almost chuckled and didn't look into it again. I forgot about it but then it showed up again so I looked into it more and thought, actually this game has some good reviews and everyone's saying it's a HUGE improvement from the first. Ubisoft actually took on the feedback from their gamers and incorporated everything we ever wanted in the first one! I couldn't recommend it highly enough. It is visually stunning - I cannot stop appreciating its utter beauty at every turn. The map is so intricately detailed and the NPCs are so alive!

If you're considering it but have also been put off by the first, please don't let it stop you from experiencing a truly awesome game!

For Honor just came out yesterday, and it's pretty amazing. Plus, in case anyone doesn't know, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is coming out next month. It's the first game in the series that will be open world. Check it out!! :D
