Favourite Moment in a Video Game?

Juzzy January 18th, 2018

Hey peeps,

Obvoiusly there will be SPOILERS in here about some games that you may not have played or are playing atm :P

So we all have games we enjoy and then there are moments that make you sit back and say WOW!, like after a big boss battle or an emotional scene.

For me (Atleast in recent memory) it has to be during the Witcher 3, during the battle of Kaer Morhen, you manage to get help off all those other people who you helped up until this point (which for me was most of them) and really its just a great fight, real tense moments here and there, and the ending was pretty sad but worth it to see, definately recommend picking up if you havent tried the witcher 3 yet.

I guess another one would have to be an old one but still i remember it like it was yesturday, the Lich King Battle in World of Warcraft, i remember doing this with my guild, all the trial and erorr getting to this point of the raid was pretty great, working our way up ice crown citidel, going through the different quarters was amazing, plus the added joy of everyone joking around of Teamspeak definately lightened the mood, oh and the music just in that instance! amazing!

So all in all tell me about your's? what moments in video games stand out for you? or that made u stop and say WOW!

@Juzzy

Hai Juzzy I hope you are well!

SPOLIERS:

My game that I have to chooe would have to be Batman: Arkham Knight when Batman see's The Joker and I was like "Oh my goodness how is he alive?"

How is the Joker alive in Arkham Knight? (Searched it up on Google)

Rocksteady, however didn't really lie. In "Arkham Knight," the Joker is actually dead. The evil clown you encounter is in fact a hallucination, a consequence carrying over from the conclusion of "Batman: Arkham City," where Joker infected Batman with a toxic sample of his own blood.

I love some good plot twists so my favourite moment, one I remember very clearly, was a moment from the first Bioshock game.

SPOILER AHEAD!

Apparently alot of people saw this twist coming, but I most definitely didn't. The reveal of Atlas actually being Fontaine "Would you kindly?" Man that fucked me up. I didn't see it coming at all! I felt so betrayed, Atlas was my bro.

SPOILER WARNING:

My favourite video game moment is in Subnautica where you finally meet the Sea Emperor, the moment you finally cure yourself of Kharra is just rewarding. The Sea Emperor is my favourite character in Subnautica, her background story is so tragic yet interesting at the same time. She's just deep (no pun intended) and really gets the player thinking... One of my favourite lines from the Sea Emperor is "What is an ocean without a wave? We may be different, but we go together.".

Final Fantasy 9 SPOILER

My wow moment will always when the male lead of I Want To Be Your Canary suddenly tosses off his cloak and hood revealing that Zidane didn't actually die or was lost after the final battle! There's a great background score, Zidane and Garnet are reunited, its just great! I cry almost every time!

In strategy games when I got to spare the last ones s that they could grow back again as my neighbours and come at me again...

My favourite moment in video games is in Mass Effect 2. The Suicide Mission. You gather all your friends who you love to start your (probably) last adventure which is aimed to save the Galaxy. Jack Walls' soundtracks and staging are fantastic. I remember I didn't have a decent laptop when the game was released. Btw, some laptop listed here are good and they can run this game. So, I've completed this game for like 6 times with all the DLC. I remember each my step on the Collector base, I pick the same characters and I always save my whole team leaving no one behind. It's so sad that Drew Karpyshyn left Bioware even before the release of the game. The third chapter is a total disenchantment for me.

I think Witcher 3 is one of the best games now and it is full of cool moments. Nevertheless, I should admit that not every computer able to show all the excellence of this game. If you have a bad monitor, I advise you to have a look at the list best Gaming monitor in 2020. Maybe you will buy a new one this year.
