How are all of you doing? How was your first week of September? Pretty hectic, but overall productive, how was it for you?
1. Do you like to read? Why or why not? I like to read because it's one of those hobbies that I can do effortlessly, and I'm a very curious person, so it's fun.
2. What type of books are your favorite? Mystery, sci-fi, literature, self-help, religion, spirituality, politics, biography, photography, travel, history, thriller, and manga. What type of books are your favorite?
3. Have you ever felt yourself go to a different world while reading a book? Yes, I like to escape reality through books, and it's nice to put myself in different scenarios every time I read a new chapter or book. It's also fun to travel through stories, and I love that reading helps with that.😊

It's great to hear that it was a productive first week! Mine was also veryyy hectic and also quite tiring, thanks for asking!
Wow I love the range of books that you like to read. I really like realistic fiction mostly. Books are definitely really good to escape reality, they just take you into the universe of the story
Thanks for taking part!!

Hello Pap!
Thank you for your nice post!
1. I do like to read, because I like to learn things, and much of what I have learned came in books
2. I read non-fiction mostly. Science, Philosophy and History are my favorites. I have also read books on mental health topics related to my volunteer work here in 7 Cups, and self-help books to feel better. And finally, books for increasing my efficiency and productivity. Now I am reading one against procrastination...
3. Yes, particularly books on Science and History have made me feel in another place, time or dimension.
Thank you again for your check-in!
See you soon, Pap!

1. Do you like to read? Why or why not?
I love to read, as may be evidenced by the whole "book out challenge" I posted a month ago for book lover's day! I've already finished two books this month though that's still not my old book a day pattern, guess life is a bit busier these days so I can't spend all my time reading anymore.
2. What type of books are your favorite?
My favourite type of book to just curl up and read is probably fantasy fiction, though my favourite tends to be more variable and sometimes I just want to read a good old math textbook.
3. Have you ever felt yourself go to a different world while reading a book?
As a lot of what I read is fantasy, it very often involves using your imagination to leave the rules of this world behind and enter into a new one. I think that sort of escapism is what makes it my favourite. So I guess the answer to your question would be yes/sort of.
Thanks for checking in!
@EmotionsListener
thank you so much for taking part! It definitely can be hard to keep reading when things start to get busy, but I love that you've still been able to set some time aside for it. Oooh fantasy fiction is so cool! The harry potter series is my absolute favoriteee, the thought of walking into hogwarts make me so happy!
@Paprika001
Sometimes I want to have a sort of 'Harry Potter read-a-thon' where everyone who enjoys the books reads them "together." Kind of like a book club but where we just read our favourite books or series.
@Paprika001 thanks for this lovely post!
1. Do you like to read? Why or why not?
I Love reading! It is something that I am passionate about, I learn so much from books! I remember when my Dad had a huge (well it seemed huge to me lol!) encyclopedia that had all the answers in the world in it.
2. What type of books are your favorite?
Fiction lol! I love things like HP and Twilight (please don't cringe)
3. Have you ever felt yourself go to a different world while reading a book?
Yes there is a wonderful zombie series on Kindle and I felt I was there!
