Looking for Recipe Ideas for Lunch

I rarely have time to eat during the day as my work keeps me busy and I absolutely do not want fast food every single day. What are some snack/lunch recipes that you absolutely love and want to share? I like everything except onions and raisins. Thank you! <3

Hello there~ 

There are many quick options you can consider if that’s what you are looking for. 

You can also “meal-prep” ahead as well. By making “Wraps”, “Salads in a Jar”, and so much more. These are also healthy options. 

If you prep these items ahead at the start of your week, and freeze (the wraps), you can quickly grab them and all you’d have to do is heat it up…..

As well as boiled eggs , & egg muffins (that you bake in a muffin tin and toss in your favorite ingredients)… make a great quick grab n go snack item. Or Veggies with a light dip or hummus. 

As far as the salad in a jar, you could prep this ahead in “Mason jars”. Which have a vacuum tight lid that will keep it fresh until you are ready to eat it. 

You could also get small meal-prep containers from your local store or online at Amazon & cook ahead for the week as well. By making baked chicken, rices, vegetables, etc..etc..and filling your containers for a few days with the meal you enjoy. 

You can also find many different recipes & options on Pinterest or YouTube if you are looking for variety. 

Some other quick lunch/snack options that provide a good balance of proteins & carbs to keep you feeling good are: 

  • A bowl of brown rice or quinoa with chicken breast

  • A peanut butter sandwich and a glass of milk

  • Whole wheat wrap with vegetables and turkey slices

  • Sweet potatoes with hard-boiled eggs

  • Greek yogurt with granola

  • Tuna salad sandwich

  • Salmon with avocado slices
