Goals
Hi all! We all have challenges, none any more invalid than the next...but know this, WE have the control to move past it. Know that we are more powerful than we think. Let's form some goals here to GET where you want to be.
I'm Mimi and my challenge is waking up and exercising right away, instead of being on my phone first thing. So my goal is to keep my phone off the internet when I go to bed, and once I wake up, say a positive affirmation like "Today is great! I am powerful and just so beautiful today!", and then pull put my yoga mat, and sneakers and do a routine. I will be doing this everyday. I'll check back in on sunday and tell you all that I crossed out this Goal every day!
Tell me your goals for the week.
Hello Mimi, it's nice to meet you. This post gave me the motivation to do the same. I know it's kinda an irony when I say not to use the phone while typing this on a phone but yeah, waking up early is on my priority list too. I hope you achieve your goal. Way to go!! Have a great week ahead :)
It's important our goals be Specific to our situation, Measurable: which means we can track our progress; Achievable meaning it's realistic to what you are capable of, Relevant meaning it is important to you, and Time-specific where you can set a deadline to reach your goal. The article here is really good in explaining the importance if it and it opened my eyes

Monday went really well! I did eat brunch at 12pm which is better than yesterday's 2pm. Still aiming to workout at 10am and eat breakfast at 10:30 at latest. My Monday went well because I love being here on 7cups and I didn't feel sedentary because I was chatting with new people and I felt time went by quicker. I was motivated enough to sweep my room, and just make plans with friends.
My Goals for This Week:
1. Finish two Python notebooks by the end of tomorrow so I'm solid on the material
2. Finish the homework due on the Monday and Tuesday of next week by the end of Friday
3. Spend 2 hours on 7 Cups 😊
4. Spend at least 1 hour exercising per day
5. Practice at least one language per day
6. Figure out a schedule for service
7. Read the articles I've been saving to read!
