Stress Awareness Week w/ Us: You're not alone!!
Hello all,
We all know how life can get overwhelming sometimes. If you are feeling overwhelmed? Please know you are not alone. This April (09-15), join us for a series of events focused on discussion and learning how to manage stress and improve your well-being. Here's what we have planned:
Day 1 (April 9): Recognizing Stress
- Group discussion: What is stress and how stressed are you?
- Forum content: Identify personal stress triggers
- Gratitude practice
Day 2 (April 10): Healthy habits for stress management
- Forum content/ group discussion: Share a stress-busting tip
- Group discussion on self-care action plan
Day 3 (April 11): Destressing activities
- Group discussion: Laughter hour (jokes), Express and manage stress through creative expression
- Forum content: The power of laughter
Day 4 (April 12): Connection & support
- Forum content: Connection & Support to Combat Stress
- Group discussion: Share your stress stories in a turn-based sharing mode.
Day 5 (April 13): Gratitude
- Group discussion: Gratitude practice & compliment war
- Forum content: Write a gratitude letter to your former self
Day 6 (April 15):
- Wrap up post on what we covered in the week. A post on Strengths Spotlight to identify their strengths and how you can utilize them to overcome stress.
- Group Discussion: Favorite quotes and why is it favorite?
Who can participate?
Everyone is invited. We encourage you to join us to share, discuss, learn, and support each other to get better at managing stress.
