Welcome to the affirmations station! Let's start the positivity train.
Hello everyone! Welcome to the Affirmations Station. It will be a thread where we can come together and support each other through positive affirmations.
Affirmations are powerful statements that can help us change our mindset and overcome obstacles. By repeating positive affirmations to ourselves, we can cultivate a more encouraging outlook and improve our mental and emotional well-being.
Let's start by taking a deep breath in and exhaling all of our worries and doubts. Please remember, we are here to support each other and spread positivity.
I'll start by sharing my own affirmation: "I got this." Saying this out loud makes me feel empowered and motivated to tackle any challenge that comes my way.
Now it's your turn! Share an affirmation that resonates with you. It can be a quote, a saying, or something you came up with yourself. Let's inspire each other with our words.
If anyone is feeling down or needs some extra support, don't hesitate to reach out. We are all here for each other and together we can overcome anything.
Let's keep the good vibes going and spread positivity wherever we go.
Oooh, I love this @ASilentObserver! I always say to myself - you are stronger than what you think and your past does not define your future.
@Raspberrycheesecake That's an amazing thing to say to yourself, thank you for sharing! :)

You always got it, Obziee! Keep it up! ❤
Affirmations are awesome!
"Breathe! Breathe! And then breathe some more! There always is more time, to feel more, do more and be more, and you can be at your pace with it, always." ❤
"You may not control all of the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them" - Maya Angelou 🩷

Hi Obs! 😊❤️ Thank you for this forum post. This is one of the very first things I get to see when signing onto the site for the day. 😊
The very first thing that comes to mind is "We might not have it all together, but together we have it all". 😊 For me, this is an affirmation of us as a team, each of us together to form a collective whole which is 7 cups.
Each one of us independently might not have it all together and that is where we lift one another up, support, help and educate to pull our friend along. We all have our time, treasures and talents that we share with another. We all have amazing gifts to give. We all make one another better people for having been here. 😊❤️😊
Obs, indeed, You got this! I underestimate no one here on this site. In an effort to affirm us all, I'll have an Oprah Winfrey moment here.....and you got this, and you got this, and you got this! Please, everyone, check under your seats for your surprise gift to take home with you.............yup! It's .....you got this!
*high fives* 😊 and big *hugs* ❤️ everyone!

I love this quote so much, it's also in my bio :)

Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.

I love this! It's so cute and a great way to get everyone involved since everyone has at least 1 quote or saying they refer to in rough times. Here is something I want to add! :3 I hope anyone going through something, just remember... you are not alone. I care about you. The whole 7cups community cares about you, and boy, there are a lot of us... Don't be afraid to reach out. You matter. Here's one of the quotes I live by:
“Don't Just...
Don't just learn, experience.
Don't just read, absorb.
Don't just change, transform.
Don't just relate, advocate.
Don't just promise, prove.
Don't just criticize, encourage.
Don't just think, ponder.
Don't just take, give.
Don't just see, feel.
Don’t just dream, do.
Don't just hear, listen.
Don't just talk, act.
Don't just tell, show.
Don't just exist, live.”
― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
@swanlistens27 Love this one too, so profound!❤
Here is a mantra which I chant when I am stressed -
"Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu"
is a Sanskrit mantra which means:
“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”
@ASilentObserver thank you for this post. One affirmation that helps me is very simple yet always works for me:
”You’ve got this”
don't worry, be happy <3
