Teen Discussion Leaders Needed!

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. Lately, we have been seeing some interest from our passionate teens to lead discussions on topics they feel passionate about. I am making this post to let you know of this opportunity and that if you are passionate about a topic, chances are you qualify to lead discussions on it!

Requirements to be a Discussion Leader

If you are a listener:

☆ Verified Listener Badge

☆ Sparkler badge (20 member group chats) OR Tiny Chat badge (20 listener group chats)

☆ You are a Teen or Adult Teen Listener

If you are a member:

☆ No newbie badge

☆ Friendly Face badge (Group Chats - 100 + Compassion Hearts - 300)

It is important that once a discussion is scheduled, the community can count on it to be there at the time. Consistency is crucial for support. It is up to you to manage and stay on top of your discussions. Hosts are also able to co-host with someone. This is a good opportunity to lead discussions with a friend! As a discussion leader you will be a part of the Teen Only Zone and will be expected to communicate with all sub-community leaders.

(Member daily sessions are on topics like "getting to know you" and "icebreaker hour" and they are hosted in the Special Events room. Discussions include topics such as "anxiety" and "LGBTQ+" and are held in the Support Session room)

If you are already a discussion leader and wish to take on more discussions/daily sessions, then please PM @sophiasanae directly.

Note: We still have 24/7 community mod coverage however they will not be focusing on leading discussions. The mods will remain focused on safety and support and can be called in if there is a mod needed (in case the discussion leaders are not mods). This is a good opportunity to work together and provide your own community with many opportunities to attend fruitful discussions.
