lost some of my best friends
I don't really post much but I thought I might give it a try. I lost a couple of my good friends last month and the grief has been hitting me hard and idk what to do and I just feel stuck I guess.
@chillinchimpanzee21 bless you ❤ grieving is never an easy path😥 loosing a couple of people and so recently. It's no wonder your feeling stuck. Thank you for opening up here, our grief community is very supportive we are all here for you anytime you want to share ❤ grieving is never easy, but you don't have to suffer alone, I'm right here for you ❤hugs you tightly ❤ how are you feeling right now?
@Tinywhisper11 aw tyy🫶🏼 idek anymore tbh everything just feels so heavy and im totally out of it.
@chillinchimpanzee21 it's hard I know, kinda just stops you in your tracks😟 just let yourself go through the emotions, it's still early days. I'm right here if you need to talk or vent ❤❤ gives you a giant tiny hug ❤❤ it does get easier ❤
@Tinywhisper11 I just keep seeing *** that reminds me of them or something happens and I'd wanna tell them about it but they're gone. Yk it sucks cuz no matter what ive like never been able to cry and i just wish i could cuz everything's just feeling heavier.
@chillinchimpanzee21 do you always have issues with crying?? Or just haven't c ried over your friends yet??
Grieving can come in different stages. It's sometimes hard to know yourself how you feel. It's very early days for you, just let yourself feel your emotions. When the time comes, the tears will come ❤ I know it's not the same as seeing them and talking to them in person, but I believe they can hear you. I talk to my son alot. ❤ it takes a while for our brain to get used to the realisation of the situation. No-one can ever prepare you for grief, but we can be here for you ❤ I'm here to listen to anything you want to just get off your chest ❤ hugs you tightly ❤❤ how are you feeling today?
@Tinywhisper11 I just have always been not able to cry idk why. Thanks I'm trying. Yesterday I just feeling so angry very quickly like at school and at home at my mom and sister and i feel bad.
@chillinchimpanzee21 no don't feel bad, anger is very understandable right now. I'm sure your sister and mum understand that ❤ and school, that's just gonna be so hard for you😞 when you was angry, was it just a general angery feeling towards everything? Or did you notice what triggered it?? There's so many thoughts, about life,God, what happens after life, just so many unanswerable things going on in our brains, it's quite normal to act out, in ways, we wouldn't normally. I'm so sorry sweetie 😥 hugs you tightly ❤ everything will be ok ❤❤
@Tinywhisper11 idk just I get so angry really fast about dumb things.
@Tinywhisper11 Its been extra hard week this week especially today😔
@chillinchimpanzee21 you have the right to feel angry, let it out in creative ways, rather than surpressing it. It's important that you let yourself feel through this whole process.
😞 some weeks will be harder than others😥 I'm sorry sweetie. Is it harder cause of thoughts/memories of emotions all over the place?? Do you ever draw or write?? When I'm sad, I sit in a special place in the garden watch the sunrise, and talk to the loved one I'm missing. I also do art for him, that I keep in a chest under the tree, I also write poems sometimes. And on his birthday I attach my poem to a balloon and let it float up to heaven. I'm not sure if any of those things would help you. But sometimes even venting here, getting all your feelings of your chest, it does surprisingly help ❤wraps you in a cosy blanket and cuddles you up ❤❤ I'm right here for you ❤
@Tinywhisper11 I don’t like to make writing but I like to make art a lot.
@chillinchimpanzee21 art is good ❤ I'd love to see your masterpieces oneday ❤ are you taking it easy on yourself this week? How's school going?
@Tinywhisper11 I try but I just couldn’t do it yesterday
I been super dissociated and It’s frustrating
@chillinchimpanzee21 yeah I understand😞 grieving is hard, so very hard😥 just try to rest as much as you can. This feeling will hopefully pass by quick. I'm so sorry sweetie, just take it day by day ❤
@Tinywhisper11 I just don’t understand and I can’t rest.
@chillinchimpanzee21 it's ok your still trying to process what happened and all the questions and thoughts on your mind😥 it's not easy, I really wish I could stop the pain. Sometimes on the hardest days it's ok to just not do anything, sometimes just taking a break is the best thing you can do. But also reach out to someone here when it all gets so overwhelming. Gives you a giant tiny hug ❤ theese are for you ❤..
@Tinywhisper11 its too hard today I hate it
@chillinchimpanzee21 wraps you up in a cosy blanket and cuddles you up ❤ I know it gets very hard sometimes😥 I'm sorry sweetie. What are your feelings/emotions right now??
@Tinywhisper11 Idk I don’t understand them I’m dumb at my feelings i only know they feel so heavy and I want to cry but i can’t.
@chillinchimpanzee21 hey it's ok, I can never understand my feelings either. Grieving is very hard, especially when you can't cry😞 you need to find a outlet because no tears can come out in other emotions. It's ok to be sad, and sit there just being upset. When I'm upset I generally lock myself in my room and hide under my blanket. I generally mope around for a couple of days trying to force myself to do things I like. I'm disabled, so I can't do much, but I can draw and make things, a creative outlet really helps. But I've heard going for a walk in nature, or exercising, can help relieve that heavy feeling. But when you feel like this it's hard to get up and do anything😞 I wish I could take away your pain. What's going through your brain right now? What are you thinking?
My condolences for your losses..I unfortunately lost my son's father at the beginning of last month as well, and I have not been coping well it feels like. I go through so many different emotions about it and towards those involved, but the one feeling that seems to be consistent is the numb stuck feeling.
Please don't hesitate to message me. I may not have lost the same person(s) but I do understand the recent emotions of grief. Keep your head up and I'll keep you in my prayers ❤️
@baileykay2334 hugs you tightly ❤
@baileykay2334 Sorry about your sons father. We can help eachother through the grieving process. The numbness/stuckness is def so real tho. I been feeling a lot of that and I also been so quick to anger and be getting real mad at ppl at school or when I come home after sports at my sister and my mom.
@chillinchimpanzee21 wow! You keep very busy ❤ being alone sometimes is good too, being alone to relax, or process our thoughts, and let ourselves feel. How are you feeling today?
@Tinywhisper11 I like to be busy. It was a pretty good day but I am really just not okay its not even just grief I have really bad issues too and Im just really unwell. I was super agitated this afternoon.
@chillinchimpanzee21 have you spoken to your doctor about mental health issues?? Perhaps might help you, even direct you towards a therapist. Sits with you and hugs you tightly ❤everything is gonna be ok ❤❤
@Tinywhisper11 no stop asking about that I have all the help I can rn at school cuz I don’t have other access but that’s ending soon but its fine
@chillinchimpanzee21 ok sorry sweetie, I forget myself easily. Growing up, looking friends, stress of school, it's all such a very hard time for you😥 but you are doing so well through all this ❤ how did today go? Are you struggling to feel the highs, instead just feeling the lows??
@Tinywhisper11 It was a really good day and a special day cuz I graduated but am also grieving a little extra today cuz I couldn’t share that moment with them
@chillinchimpanzee21 yaaaaay! Well done for graduating ❤❤ that's awsome, so proud of you ❤. I bet your friends are smiling down on you, really proud of you. You graduated for them too. I hope you had a little celebration? I know even on the good days, you will also feel sad at times, but your doing amazing, hugs you tightly ❤
Hi @chillinchimpanzee21 👋
How are you holding up buddy? It sounds so hard for you right now, 😢 sending u hugs ❤️ I'm also going through a rough similar time lost a little friend last month and the numbness and shock is still within, it sounds strange but you can let go a bit of the pressure and stuck-ness by getting out and like walking or do some type of physical activity real hard. I go where my little friend is lying and just talk like...you know she can hear me. Afterwards im sad but feel a wee bit better. Just make sure you take care of yourself through this rough time ❤️ it's very easy to lose appetite 🥹 just do the things that make you happy and just know that varying emotions are very very normal. (I also had strange bursts of sadness/anger) It's normal but try to keep yourself calm. Find a small something that you can let off the pressure when it starts to mount. I'm here if you need me.
@Sparklingdiamonds thanks🤍 sorry about your little friend I hope they’re resting easy. I’m an athlete so I’m always keeping active and I’m also someone who needs busy and I’m always doing the little stuff that usually makes me happy. I feel like I’m loosing myself a bit tho lately.
@chillinchimpanzee21
I understand. Yeah, it's really rough but keeping busy and thinking about other things is a good diversion for short term.
It's difficult when you just feel like no matter how hard you try you're slipping and loosing control but don't worry hang in there okay? If you have someone you trust just vent ❤️ a real buddy will be a sympathetic listening buddy through thick n thin.
So you are an athletic buddy 😊 keep up the good work and no matter what take care of yourself. It's too easy to let grief control us so make sure that you are able to get plenty of rest and eat as normal as can be of possible. It's gonna take a bit of time to heal but you will. Talk to me when you want ❤️
@Sparklingdiamonds thanks I just hate that the first thing on my mind is always using tho
@chillinchimpanzee21
Yes! I hear you buddy. It's like the more you try to avoid thinking about something the more it just pops up in your head. 🤧 A question...but would you feel a little better going to a place where you used to enjoy hanging out with those friends and just spend a bit of quiet time to yourself or is it better to avoid? Personally for me it's avoiding the favorite places but looking at special pics we took together. Just know that whatever you are going through you have friends here at 7cups who really care about you hugs buddy 🩷❤️
@Sparklingdiamonds idk but sometimes I like looking at pictures
@chillinchimpanzee21
Pictures are a good way to remember the good times and those good old memories. I find by doing that it's comforting in a way. Also if you have a activity that you really enjoy doing it also is helpful to do. Like me, I find a bit of doodling fun (I'm not good at drawing lol) and definitely a distraction for me is by shopping online (not buying just browsing)! Buddy ❤️ just know that through the roughest of days we are here for you. Everything is going to be different but there are a lot of people who care about you 🤗🌟
@Sparklingdiamonds i know i been doing tons of art
@chillinchimpanzee21
That is good, hope u aren't wading in your artwork though 😉 sounds like you are pretty good at it. So Wow! Are you into anime?
@Sparklingdiamonds no I don’t really fw anime sorry
@chillinchimpanzee21
That's okay I was just trying to figure out if you are into that stuff or another genre (I think that's what it's called x🤣)
Are you okay? You sound blah.
@Sparklingdiamonds I like watching other types of shows and no I’m not good kinda struggling tn
@chillinchimpanzee21
Oh no I meant for drawing what do you like to draw? I'm sorry you are so down buddy, here's a hug hope it makes you feel a wee bit better. Have you tried the sharing circle? Sometimes people listen and really help over there. I wish I could say or do something to make u feel better!
### Navigating Life Transitions with a Purpose: Finding Strength in Change
Hello everyone,
I want to talk to you today about something we all experience: life transitions. Whether it's starting a new job, moving to a new city, or dealing with personal loss, these moments can be incredibly challenging. But I've found that navigating these changes with a sense of purpose can transform them from daunting obstacles into powerful opportunities for growth.
#### Embracing Change with a Purpose-Driven Mindset
First and foremost, embracing a purpose-driven mindset means seeing change not as something to fear, but as a chance to realign with your core values and passions. When we focus on our purpose, we find the strength and motivation to tackle even the most difficult transitions. It's about finding that inner compass that guides us through the storm.
#### My Personal Journey: Dealing with Loss
In 2016, my life was turned upside down when my father committed suicide. The pain and confusion were overwhelming, and for a long time, I felt lost in my grief. It was one of the hardest transitions I've ever had to face. But through this devastating loss, I learned something invaluable: the importance of finding purpose even in the darkest times.
#### Finding Purpose in Pain
Dealing with my father's death forced me to confront my deepest fears and insecurities. It was a long, difficult process, but I eventually realized that I could honor his memory by helping others who were going through similar struggles. This sense of purpose gave me the strength to move forward and find meaning in my own life.
#### Practical Tips for Navigating Transitions
1. **Reflect on Your Core Values**:
- Take time to identify what truly matters to you. Write down your core values and think about how they can guide you through this transition.
2. **Set Clear, Purpose-Driven Goals**:
- Define what you want to achieve in this new chapter of your life. Make sure these goals align with your values and purpose.
3. **Build a Support Network**:
- Surround yourself with people who support your purpose and can offer encouragement and advice during this time.
4. **Stay Mindful and Present**:
- Practice mindfulness to stay grounded in the present moment. This can help reduce anxiety and keep you focused on your goals.
5. **Embrace Self-Care**:
- Prioritize activities that nurture your mental and physical well-being. Self-care is crucial for maintaining the energy and resilience needed to navigate transitions.

Hi I can't get your last post to load so that I can read it. How are you doing today? Wanted to send u some 💐 and 💕
I'd asked how about using the sharing circle? I find like the member community room is nice to use, because sometimes they just talk nonsense and before you know it you are laughing along (which helps reduce some of that built up pressure) and it becomes east to helpadd to the spirit of mirth in there and if you do need to talk they are supportive. ❤️ I think that's the best room to go to. I'm still here for you tho 🩷💕
@Sparklingdiamonds maybe I’ll try
@chillinchimpanzee21
Well, at least try a little bit and see if it can help you brighten up a wee bit 🤗🩷 Sometimes it works other times it doesn't but it's worth a shot..you know connect with people and lose yourself for a little bit I find that helps loosen that pressure and pain. Hope u r okay today friend sending over some 💐☕ hope u accept this hug 🤗
@Sparklingdiamonds thanks I appreciate it Idk if I wanna do the group chat I’m kinda scared to go on it again cuz I had a bad experience last time but I like talking with other listeners 1-1 more
@chillinchimpanzee21
I'm sorry about that. People can be rude or discuss triggering topics. I'm glad u found the 1 on 1 listener to be helpful. Hope u get someone who is helpful and not nosy. Ahem. U r free to reach out to me anytime through here and I'll try to get back with you. All the best buddy ❤️
