HI, these are the 10 things im grateful for in my life right now at this step - Collegelife out of home reach.
1) I have a really good housemates that laugh and joke with each other. we share food, money sometimes, go out to eat with each other and live with each other, help each other's problems by giving solutions.
2) Being healthy, not having stomach ache and no flu that keeps annoying my nose.
3) Being able to sleep soundly and comfortably in the apartment.
4) Having people that care for me back home.
5) Starting to create communities - started cooking with a bunch of friends while we bought the groceries yesterday.
6) Able to have communication with people, not just through the phone.
7) Have enough food, basic needs.
8) Able to express my emotions through music - Guitar
9) Able to wake up in the morning?
10) I have relatives around this place.
Okay , so preface, I am going throgh a LOT of hard times right now, emotionally. I have seen this forum thread and have been avoiding it because of the ain I am in. Then it hits me - this is the Perfect time to do this. To FOCUS on what I have and what I am greatful for and not focus on the negatives <3 So - thanks for making this thread.
1. That I am more than a survivor - I am still kciking and fighting for my best self, my highest self , desite my past - and that makes me a thriver!
2. I have a wonderful job that I love, get paid for , and get a chance to make a difference in peoples lives for the better <3
3. I am surrounded with love and friends and listebers and support here at 7 cups.
4. That I have family, okay, really just one person, but I HAVE her, that is what matters<3
5. For my healthand every day I wake up and am breathing.
6. That even though I am going through a lot, I have ofically taken self harm and suicide off the table as a possible coping skill to go to - EVER again.
7. That I have enough money ( after my check today) to get a 7 cups online therapist to help me start to heal from the past that keeps coming up on me.
8. I may have gone thriough many things in life, painful, I can now use this to help support others and have more empathy and compassion.
9. For my wonderful listeners that have been there for me in dire times.
10. That I no matter what, I have not closed off my heart and all that I have been through has made me a kinder person instead of jaded , hard and cold...which I wuld have had every right to do. But I chose compassion and love, self love and cmpassion and love for others.
1. I have a God who loves me unconditionally!
2. That I am being renewed through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
3. For my loving, committed and God-serving husband.
4. The blessing of 3 totally amazing kids.
5. My incredible family that is growing closer to each other each day.
6. A particular friend who loves me enough to 'call me out' in areas of my life that are not glorifying to God.
7. The fact that I have the privilege of waking up to a new day.

• and most importantly, the fact that I'm still alive and that I still have determination to live
