What are you proud of yourself for today? 🌟

Hello, lovely people! 💛

I wanted to create this thread to encourage us to celebrate our successes together—big or small. Sometimes, even the tiniest victories, like getting out of bed on a tough day, deserve recognition. 🌱

We often tend to be so hard on ourselves that we overlook the good things we do. Taking a moment to appreciate even the smallest steps forward can help us feel better about ourselves and build our self-esteem.

You can share something that happened today or recently—or, if you’d like, something from a longer time ago that you’re still proud of.

I remember when I was going through depression, even taking a shower felt like a huge effort. Washing my hair was an accomplishment I felt truly proud of, and it helped me see that small steps really matter.

So, let’s lift each other up! 🌼

What are you proud of yourself for today?

It could be anything—finishing a task, showing kindness, or simply taking time for yourself.

Let’s celebrate each win, one step at a time:)

I’ll start! From the 'big successes,' I’m really proud of myself for finally enrolling in university after several years of thinking about it. I’m now a first-year psychology student! I wanted to do it for a long time, but I kept thinking, 'It’s too late for that.

Another thing.. I just found the courage to write to my friend after a long time. I was avoiding it and postponing for a several weeks after we had an argument.

I’m proud of myself for calling my wedding off with an emotionally abusive man. Though there was love so much love and care for him I had, I am proud for leaving him for the tremendous amount of hurtful things he said to me despite me taking care of him like no one in his life ever did. I have waves of emotions of guilt, sadness and heartbreak. But through it all I feel relieved and I hope to see a better tomorrow.

I was in the classroom and our teacher said the one who will answer this question I will give him full sessional marks. He asked which force acts on a book on placed on a table. For a while we all were thinking and then abruptly I said it's the "Normal force". Everyone wondered (some were being envious too). The teacher said who said this. This is a scientist. He note my roll no and name. Tbh it made me feel proud.
