Random Acts of Kindness [Masterpost 2025]

At 7 Cups, we encourage everyone to be kind to each other and practice random acts of kindness. I always believe that ‘If given a choice between doing the right thing and the kind thing, choose the kind one.’
On behalf of the Positivity and Gratitude Sub-Community, I invite you all to our 3 day-long events to celebrate some Random Acts of Kindness starting today. Hope you all have an awesome time participating in all the following events and discussions in both chatrooms and forums.

I feel the kindest thing someone could do for me is offer me their time and a little space in their life, without me asking anddd despite me repeatedly telling them not to xD ooh and just allowing me to be myself! 🌻

I can definitely understand wanting someone to be able to offer their time and space in their life. that sounds like a lovely thing to want. it’s important to be able to feel like ourselves. you know my messages are always open if you need a space to chat about anything at all
The kindest thing someone could do for me is also give me a safe space where I can let my guard down : )

The kindest thing I feel someone can do for me is maybe just understand me and the things that I wish to say but can't. I always appreciate and remember when something is understood by someone without words.

I think that this would be a lovely thing that someone does. being able to understand us and give us a space to say what we want would be so nice. i love being appreciated and understood by someone without words as well. my messages are always open if you need anything.

1. What does being kind mean to you?
It means giving freely from my heart without expecting anything in return. It's wanting the best for others, thinking of them even before myself. It's servitude for others. ♡
2. What is the kindest thing someone has done for you?
I've had many people be kind to me. Whether it's monetary, kind words, or doing something for me... I'm grateful for it all. I appreciate it all because no one has to do anything for me. Depending on where I am in life though and what I was needing most at that specific time in my life, some things held more weight. I can't deny that. ♡

1. I think your idea of kindness is amazing. it really shows how much you know about being kind. It’s all about doing things from the heart and not expecting anything for it.

@VerseArt 😊 nice to meet you. The kindest thing someone did for me recently was listening when I was going through a hard time, encourage, inspire and lift me, never maki g me feel like a burden once 😊

What does being kind mean to you?
is to treat others with grace and mercy not to assume things about them. offering help and friendliness to them. also to be willing to listen to them. showing you care about what going on in their life.
what is the kindest thing someone has done for you?
after we moved here to get away from daily abuse. we called a church within the first day. they did not have a bus or offer rides to church. city buses here not run nights and weekends. but the lady said we might have someone willing to give you rides. so next day a very sweet lady called. she wanted to meet with us before she would give us rides. we we met with her. she offered way more then rides to church. she accepted us just as we are . she now a dear friend of our even after we left that church. due to treatment of the mentally ill and physical disabled. she stayed friends with us.
some might not see how big this was to us. but we was in a new city we not been in and just moved cut ties from most our family members too. so her offering her friendship that met the world to us.

1. I love how you talk about being kind. It’s all about being able to treat others and not assume things about others. It’s about being able offer help and be friendly to others . this is a great definition about being kind.
2. this sounds so sweet. im glad they were able to do that. just because this may not mean a lot to some, if it means a lot to you than thats what matters.
