@Darren291214

This is the dilemma. I may live for many more years therefore i need to be prudent with my finances and with relationships.

Or I might die tomorrow therefore spend all my money and throw caution to the wind when it come to relationships.

Now how to balance these two things.

@Tinywhisper11

They are very quoted expressions since ancient Rome.

The first we say frequently "This year is ending, I feel it has passed so fast like January was yesterday".

The second is a phrase by the poet Horatius, we say it often in Cups "Take life one day at a time".

The third is controversial. I would translate it like "Live your life knowing it will last for a limited time." A typical stance of Epicureans, Stoics, and later Existentialist philosophers (particularly Heidegger).

You are very clever.

Brainalogically bright!

I just studied Latin and I love it. I love everything Roman, and about history in general.

@courageousPineapple492 I totally understand how you are feeling right now. Life can be incredibly challenging, and indeed some face more difficulties than others. It's okay to acknowledge the pain and fear you're experiencing. I believe with time and, with the right support, it's possible to make significant progress in overcoming trauma. You're not alone in this, and reaching out for help is a courageous step towards a better future. You won't have to live like this forever, and you're not wasting yourself. It may take time, but improvement is achievable. If you ever want to talk or share more about what you're going through, I'm here for you.
