hello, amazing human! guess what? it's been 2 years since i joined 7 cups! for me, that's huge. think about it... 2 years! that's a lot.

where do i even begin? november of 2020 was the start of something wonderful; a new adventure. a 7 cups adventure. i was going through a rough time, so i literally googled "talk to a psychologist online for free", and next thing i know, i am using 7 cups and chatting with my first listener ever. i wish i could remember their username because the first chat i had here, literally changed my life. i felt heard. i felt so much better than before. i felt alive. and i am very thankful for that.

when i started feeling like myself again, i decided to join as a listener (i won't reveal my username though😜), and omg, i loved it! reading "thank you so much for your help! i am feeling so much better now" is one of the best feelings 7 cups could give me❤️ listening to members, joining the group chats, and chatting to other listeners allowed me to meet wonderful people. 7 cups is full of kind souls, both members and listeners. and the fact of feeling part of a community is even better than i could have imagined.

today, i am happy to be here (: i know i come here as a member when i am feeling down, i need support or a distractor (and i am probably not the only one who does that), but i don't see that as a negative thing. quite the opposite! i am so glad i found 7 cups two years ago, so that whenever i am feeling lonely and i don't have anyone near me to talk to, i know there will always be someone willing to support me. or the other way round: i can help someone who simply needs someone to listen. after all, helping others is a gift that can't be compared to anything.

thank you everyone on 7 cups for these past two years! 💜 it has been like a rollercoaster ride with ups and downs, i have learned lots of things, and i have made tons of memories. i hope everyone is enjoying their 7 cups journey (:
