Why is Forgiveness important to you?
Hey there everyone! Good to see you all again. A question I have today is, why is forgiveness important to you? How would you define forgiveness and what are ways we can show it?
Do you think forgiveness has a good or bad impact on mental health, and is there anything you'd like to add such as a story?
To me, forgiveness is very important in healing, and I think can be very beneficial to mental health. What are your thoughts on that?
@MissSkeleton hello! to me forgiveness really helped me with moving on with my life, rather that holding grudges. it helps me to move on from the past and be at peace with myself too.
I think it is important both to give and receive forgiveness for our internal peace...
I dislike people that give forgiveness with condotions: "I forgive you if you..."
Forgiveness is such a noble thing that it must be total and unconditional...you do not forgive someone on "terms", that is not forgiveness but a truce...
I am a forgiving person but I never deal in absolutes so there are situations in my life when I will never ever forgive or forget...
If you forgive someone, do it truly from your heart❤...and if someone forgives you be grateful forever....
I feel like forgiveness is important because without it, you never never truly move forward. When I think of forgiveness I think of trauma and a quote I saw somewhere that says forgiveness allows you to set yourself free - to let go and not allow the past to occupy as much space in your life.
