Even though I'm 14 and I'm getting my own help by coming on 7 Cupof Tea three times a week is/might really help me out with my problems and what I'mhaving. The breathing exercises are cool.yes

I totally agree. When I feel down I usually help others because their smiles make me happy.

to stop being so hard on myself

Lilacbreeze76 June 5th, 2015

I reached step 100! I learned that it's ok to worry but I have to control it and not let the what ifs control my life. I have met some amazing people here, I also shared my story about my dad and how I sometimes struggle with body dysmorphia. I know whatever I'm struggling with I can come to this website and receive help

I've learned it's totally okay to treat myself like the princess I am.

Sometimes we feel bad, and that's okay. You need to feel bad first, to learn how to deal with it.

life has no order, or single correct path / reality which you must conform to. therefore, unlike popular belief, there is no wrong path, or wrong decision - there is simply what is.

the sooner we are able to accept this, the sooner we can choose to exist in this single existence which we occupy. chances are, we are an absurd collection of concsiousnesseshurtling through space in an unimaginably large, uncaring universe.

and that may seem scary - but really its liberating. because it means that we can live without fear for what could have been, what should have, without fear of absolutes,, codes, judgement; without constantly having to search for a higher meaning, or a reason to keep on living, and getting out of bed in the morning -it liberates to simply exist and enjoy the small, frivulous, fortunate things that happen to befall us, like the feeling of sun on our cheeks, or a chance romance, or a great meal, or an unexpected compliment.

these small and beautiful things are what really give life meaning, and the more we escape the confines of our own heads, our own conjecture and fear, the more fully and frequently we can experience the small and wondrous beauties of life around us.

when we relax, let go, lose your guilt, shame and fear, and simply exist -then we can truly live, rather than just surviving - because if you lose your cura (latin for care or worry) then you can truly enter the state of ataraxia(serenity, tranquility) and appreciate the wonders of a simple, joyous life.
