Hey Obs,

  • What was your highlight in the past week? (It could be related to your training, group chat rooms, or in general as well)
  • I hosted my first session solo this week. I was nervous but I was pleased with the turn out and how the session flowed.
  • What is your current challenge that you facing?
  • Increasing my Listener Group Chat stats. Even though I've been spending time in the LSR, it's often slow and not easy to get in 25 - 30 messages
  • What did you learn 1-3 new things about Group Support lately?
  • (Writers block, lol) Nothing comes to mind right at this moment but I will be sure to try to do a follow up response to this post Grinning

What was your highlight in the past week? (It could be related to your training, group chat rooms, or in general as well)

first is about a forum project i'm working on and am super excited about and on a second point, probably not a big deal, but I took my first chat support request from the emergancy CS request form

What is your current challenge that you facing?

group support is getting triggering too often (not because of anything against the chatroom rules but simply people sharing to get help), and there for i needed to disappear all at once twice yesterday, which is the thing i hate doing the most...

What did you learn 1-3 new things about Group Support lately?

one thing i learned was that sometimes people are not in a state to understand you and respect your reminder as a mod but even if it seems like being a pain for them, safety of group comes first, and you need to think of everyone who is influenced by the group's environment (and they will hopefully understand when they think of it later too)

Hi Obs! I've been doing well! Thank you.

What was your highlight in the past week? (It could be related to your training, group chat rooms, or in general as well)

My highlight of the week was probably receiving my safety patrol and intern ship badge as well as applying for other roles and being in the Teen Listener room!

What is your current challenge that you facing?

A challenge I'm currently facing is, balancing college life with cupsing (7 cups) but it's not too bad of a challenge.

What did you learn 1-3 new things about Group Support lately?

I've learnt that it goes a long way in terms of friendship and respect if you welcome people as they join the group, lots of joiners stay quiet.. unless you involve them in the conversation, it's easier for someone to feel comfortable when welcomed.

Hi there, new week! This is exciting! 🤩

• What was your highlight in the past week? (It could be related to your training, group chat rooms, or in general as well)

This week has been about learning and refreshing. I have focused on improving my skills and learning more and more about 7 Cups through trainings and refreshing guides!

• What is your current challenge that you facing?
Managing my time correctly - I'm still working on finding the best way to share my time between personal life and 7 Cups. But I'm on a great path to achieving that balance!

• What did you learn 1-3 new things about Group Support lately?

A few things I have recently learnt about Group Support are: safety procedures and what is acceptable within group supports, you have something to learn at all times.

I wish everyone a lovely werk! ❤️

Hello! Well this week I've been in contact with only the loveliest people I've met, they make me smile and laugh and it makes me feel normal again. One challenge I'm facing is; the stress if still finding the right home to 7cups balance. And things I've learnt about group support include; everyone will jump in when help is needed ando learnt how to get verified. Take care and I'll see you around :)

○ Confirmed finished LDP as I received the certificate. Yay!

What is your current challenge that you facing?

○ Managing time for volunteer works here to stay in a fun and comfortable pace

What did you learn 1-3 new things about Group Support lately?

○ Learned about Yalom Therapeutic Factors gave me direction in hosting guided discussion

○ Learned how tough it is to be a Mod when unsupportive behavior arise in a Member Group. Confirmed, Mod is definitely not my thing lol but respect to Mods who were able to remained calm and collected, kind and supportive yet courageous and stick to the rules at the same time, even when they were being insulted blatantly.

Gaining a lot of group chats, I have been spending more time in listener chat rooms. All though it is a bit hard to gain chats now due to low activity.

Getting LSC lively, it's often empty or has little participation.

What did you learn 1-3 new things about Group Support lately?

I learned how to engage more in Teen Community Room.
