Love

Soooo, I have been thinking about something and I wish to see different views and thoughts about it.
We all know love, we can probably describe what it is, how it feels like TO LOVE someone, be it a lover, family member or a friend. However, how would you describe BEING LOVED - what does it mean to you, how does it feel, how do you even tell someone loves you ? Is there a general, or at least a majority-fitting answer or is it completely subjective ?
Please, feel free to add any subject-related thought, I would be very grateful for anyone joining and sharing anything. π₯°
@Votre Hello! I truly appreciate your positive vibes and warm wishes. Sending a big smile and hug right back to you!
Your question about being loved is intriguing. Being loved can mean different things to different people, and it is indeed subjective. For some, it might be the feeling of being accepted for who you are, knowing that someone cares about your well-being and happiness. It can manifest in gestures, words, or even just a sense of connection and trust. It's a topic that can be explored from various angles, and I'm sure many here will have unique perspectives to share. Thank you for sparking this thought-provoking conversation!
@Mya000 Thank you very much for both your kind words and your much appreciated opinion Mya ! π₯°
I really like your point about manifestation of love - not just in gestures and words that come in mind to most of us, but also the feeling, the sense of connection. Thank you again for your reply and I wish you the best ! π€
@Votre You're very welcome! Your kind words mean a lot to me. Wishing you all the best too!
I feel love is when someone cares about where you are not around for long.. When you give yourself and them enough opportunities to show that they care about you.. When they pay back or at least try to payback your sacrifices.. When they understand and accept their mistakes and are not scared of apologizing.. When they know you can't do anything to them and that you have constraints and can't take a big step and still don't compell you to that extent that you are broken apart when they are actually enjoying their lives.
@Votre hi I don't think I've ever been loved by anyone. So not sure what it feels like
@Tinywhisper11 Hi Tinywhisper, thank you for your reply. π
As I found out, feeling of being loved is not that "strong" as to love somebody yourself imo, that is why I did ask this question in the first place. You might actually be loved by many people and do not really notice ! π However it is, I do believe that you are lovable person, and I know you are a special person, unique in your own way !
I am sorry you feel like this and I wish you all the love you deserve, sending a big hug ! π₯° Thank you again for your reply !
I can tell someone loves me when they still care about me and appreciate me even though I have flaws and imperfections.
@coco128 Hi coco and thank you very much for your reply, hope you are doing great in life ! π
I believe you just pointed out one of the most important thing in relationships with your reply - everyone wants someone who loves them for who they are, not just positives, but also negatives. I feel the same way, I would add to this that if you love someone, you are willing to help them "fix" their flaws if possible to do so and if the other person wants to of course ! Supporting like this feels like someone cares about you, giving you a warm feeling while also providing motivation. However, some "flaws" cannot be changed and I agree that if you love someone, you will accept those just as well as the positives, for together they make YOU who YOU are.
Thank you again for your reply, I wish you all the best and sending a big hug right away ! π₯°
I appreciate your positive message :)
