WHAT TO DO WHEN I FEEL STUCK?
I am stuck in a loop of regret. I did mistakes. I feel regret it. I get paralyzed. What can I do???????
@RainyDays2020
Hey there I'm sorry to hear that. Sometimes our minds can be quite vicious in reminding us about our constant mistakes that we made in the past. It sometimes heals with time, but it nevertheless stings when it comes up in our head. Maybe talk it out with someone on the Listener's queue? For me I always go to my friends when I need to get a toxic thought out of my mind. Regardless hope you're able to overcome this cycle sooner than later.

To find fast solution ideas like for your situation:
- I search the web like below.
- Then I pick what seems best for my situation,
especially if they mention scientific evidence.
- Then I try it thoroughly and carefully and take notes.
- I also learn all about the topic so I get the big picture and understand what is going on overall.
Here is an example Google search I did in the past on rumination:
Below is a Bing search for just video results for rumination:
- I especially like Bing video-search because I can preview the video while on the search result page.
To hear the audio, I click the play button and the speaker button X.
And in a Bing search video there are no advertisement interruptions. Yay!

Another thing I do when ruminating is
decided to accept my flaws and
learn from them and
see them as a growth path
like explained in the song in the first video here:

I understand how hard it can be to get out of the loop of regret and how debilitating it is to stay there. Self critic is the harshest demon. It makes us paralyzed. But don't let the time when we had yet to do things greatly makes us fail to see all the wonderful things that we've done. Cause all the magnificent impact you've made far outweigh any step you had yet to take perfectly.
It's okay to make mistake. We all make mistake. It's part of being human. That's how we learn to do better the next time. Don't be hard on yourself. Accept and embrace all that happened. And don't let it make you fail to see the valuable person that you are.
And always remember, intention matters. Sometimes we meant to do good things and yet it turned to result the opposite of what we thought it would be. And we only realized it later that things might have been different if we did it differently. But that doesn't mean we did something bad. It only means that we know what's not to do the next time.
We're all a work in progress. Be gentle with yourself so you can continue to flourish. Don't put burden on yourself that you're not meant to carry. Always believe in yourself. In all the good that you are. I believe in you.
Maybe there are times when things seem bleak. But always have faith that we'd get to the end of the tunnel. And the road ahead will be brighter.
Don't let what happened dim your light. Things may not always go perfectly. But there's always a silver lining. Maybe there were times when things get difficult. But maybe that's just the way for things to happen. Maybe it paved the way for the road ahead. Focus on the good things. Never lose hope. Everything will be allright.
