If one feels worthless there is ignorance of one's worth. If there is self hatred there is the mistreatment of oneself. If there is hatred towards another, they who mistreats may be hated by their victims.
If one is lost there is the opportunity to find oneself. If one feels that they have lost everything they do not see what they have. Place happiness in a temporary thing and this happiness will be lost. Place it in the future and one will never have it. Place it in the past and one will want to go backwards while they cannot.
If one tries to improve themselves they do not accept themselves as is. An attempt to improve by acceptance is not acceptance. This is disapproval of oneself as is.
