Ooh, seems interesting! So each saga has a specific magic power and character it focuses on? What are the characters like?

It's about a kid named Twig and finding his family. The perspective changes from him, his father, great grandson, and one other character from book to book. Basically they live in a place called "the edge" and it's hard to describe. It's just amazing. There's sky pirates and everything
