My duty

It's my responsibility to take care of my brain.

I'm saying this because a lot of people that I live around don't.

With that being said it would also be a civil act to have empathy on those and their habits, especially considering my background.

@amicableox0685 What types of things do you do to take care of your brain?

@AffyAvo

I don't drink or do drugs, and I exercise. I talk to a therapist every three months or so and stay on my meds. I keep a small circle and surround myself with positive people. I believe in God to heal.

@amicableox0685 I needed to hear this. In fact I would need someone to hire a mariachi band to follow me around singing it

@sadcat13

Some don't try, so that's a big step.

I believe you reap what you sow. It can be a hard truth depending on your perspective, but as long as your being proactive about it then there's a possibility that your circumstances can change.

Keep trying...I will too.

This is very well said and I agree completely, but you said it much better than I could.

I know I have to work on the things you mentioned.
