Riddles!
This topic is about short riddles, because not everyone likes to do the larger logical puzzles. If you do like those, then click here.
If you've guessed the riddle, you can immediately post another one yourself. Let's keep it going.
I will start with this riddle:
What is easy to get into, but hard to get out of?
What has wheels and flies, yet is not an aircraft?
@DarkWolf
A garbage truck
I have cities, but no houses. I have mountains, but no trees. I have water, but no fish. What am I?
@K87 obviously a map but is too sumplistic because a map can have houses (city council urbanistic maps), can have trees (rangers and national conservation parks and logging industry), and dynamic sonar maps can have fish for fishermen. So map is a bit obsolete...simplistic...
@K87 did you hear recently about Google Maps, GPS and sonar? They all have houses, trees and fish. Even before these technologies maps had these details. It is all about SCALE not map. A scaled map.
Thank you for your riddle @K87, let's move on with another one.
I am beautiful, up in the sky.
I am magical, yet I cannot fly.
To people I bring luck, to some people, riches.
The boy at my end does whatever he wishes.
What am I?
@DarkWolf
Has a tongue, but never talks. Has no legs, but sometimes walks.
@K87 easy those are my addidas running shoes😉
An Irish boy at the end of the Rainbow...
Noice one for St Patrick's day Wolf🤗
@SakoombaKero could have also been the moon, boy on the moon and in some countries the supperstition says if you have a coin on the full moon you will be rich
@SakoombaKero i don't know how to insert a pic with the boy on the moon...
Let's move on with another riddle:
How many coins can you put in a medium-sized empty piggy bank?
You are in a room with 3 monkeys. One monkey has a banana, one has a stick, and one has nothing. Who is the smartest primate in the room?
@DarkWolf
Hahaha lol "Me"
@niceDaisy36
You're right, haha
@DarkWolf
hahah this one was really funny actually for me
Look at me one way and I weigh a whole lot; turn me around and you'll see that I am not. What am I?
@DarkWolf
Being honest i'll say i took my brother's help as he was interested in this. So i gues the answer will be "Ton" .
@niceDaisy36
i concur! it has to be the word itself. ton vs not, in reverse =]
@TheZu
Yes
Every dawn begins with me.
At dusk I'll be the first you see,
and daybreak couldn't come without.
What midday centers all about.
Daisies grow from me, I'm told.
And when I come, I end all code,
but in the sun I won't be found.
Yet still, each day I'll be around.
What/who am I?
@DarkWolf
Am enjoying today reading your posts haha.
The letter "D" .Dawn, Dusk, Daybreak (begining) and midday (middle) , and wow Daisies start from letter D. End refers to end by D hence everything ends . And yeah D there in everyday
Have a nicedaisy day haha.
@niceDaisy36
eeeeeever the most brilliant lol =]
@TheZu
Hahaha, actually midday and daisies in the riddle kinda gave me a bit clue .
@niceDaisy36 You're very clever to have seen that. :)
@Lifer
hahaha
This is needed both for courage and hardcover books. What is it?
