Riddles!
This topic is about short riddles, because not everyone likes to do the larger logical puzzles. If you do like those, then click here.
If you've guessed the riddle, you can immediately post another one yourself. Let's keep it going.

I don't blame you for guessing it, but I would never really give a riddle with such an answer on 7Cups
Inside the green house there is a white house
Inside the white house there is a red house.
Inside the red house there are lots of babies.

What is the next 3 letters in this riddle? o t t f f s s _ _ _
Which cup fills up first?
1. I have 10 or more daughters.
2. I have less than 10 daughters.
3. I have at least 1 daughter.

@TrulyMadlyDeeply The second one is true, and you have no daughters?
@PhoenixAsh
Correct! If I have any daughters at all, then 2 of the statements would be true
A Japanese ship was en route in the open sea. The Japanese captain went for a shower, removing his gold wedding band and Rolex watch and placing them on a table. When he returned, his valuables were missing. The captain immediately called the 5 suspected crew members and asked them what they were doing in the last 15 minutes:
1. The Indian cook, in a heavy overcoat, said that he was in the fridge room getting the meat ready for cooking.
2. The Scottish engineer, with a torch in hand, said that he was working on the generator engine.
3. The Sri Lankan seaman, wearing a hat, said that he was correcting the flag at the mast, which was upside down by mistake.
4. The British radio officer, with a mini radio in his pocket, said that he was messaging the company that the ship was reaching the next port in 72 hours.
5. The Morrocan navigation officer, wearing a sleeping robe, said that he was on night watch, so he was sleeping in his cabin.
Who stole the captain's valuables?
@TrulyMadlyDeeply The Sri Lankan? Cause a Japanese flag can't be upside down :3
@PhoenixAsh
Correct once more, great job!
@TrulyMadlyDeeply Yay! I
A grandfather is telling his grandson war stories.
"At the end of World War I, I was awarded for my bravery after saving a group of men," the grandfather says. "So after the war finished, the general gave me a sword, engraved with the words, 'Awarded for bravery and valor, a true hero in the first World War.' "
The grandson suddenly notices that the story cannot be true. Why not?
@TrulyMadlyDeeply
Is it because they didn
@IndecisiveClementine186
Good try, but not correct.
@TrulyMadlyDeeply Because they couldn't have anticipated a Second World War, and so would've just called it 'the World War'?
How can you rearrange the letters in "new door" to create one word?
