I know how you feel. People find out about me and ask how. you're so happy all the time.. they just can't see the truth.
I wish I could tell everyone who stereotypes people with mental health conditions, that it is not a personal flaw or a personal shortcoming to have a mental illness. It is a viable medical condition. Many people with mental illness are treated in unfair, and disrespectful fashions. I feel this is not right. I feel that everyone is deserving of good treatment and respect.
I am not okay.
That it's so hard just to hold down a job and I'm not less than because I don't go to school or have an exiting career or kids.
