@LoveMyMoonflowers 😱 it's probably haunted😱😱 maybe it's alive😱😱 maybe tiny people live inside your ac😬😬

Actually all of them are this way my house if probably full of these sentient air conditioners

@LoveMyMoonflowers 😂 these sentient air conditioners think they are so cool!
@PineTreeTree

That's diabolical, why would be do that
Jesus & Muhammad in a Cadillac, I hope the big boys don't let it drop too soon...preferably not until December. My ________ _______ has been growing like kudzu! 😁
(hint: it's a financial subject)
@slowdecline48 🤔🤔🤔 gold dabloons??
Bank account??
Gold prices??
Stock market??
Inflatuation???
The interest rate! 😁 In the United States, it's set by the Federal Reserve, a.k.a. "the Fed" (basically the central bank, connected to the federal government)...I don't know who/what determines the official interest rate in Britain, but your government surely has some kind of institution that does the same thing.
In response to our high inflation in 2021, the Fed jacked up the interest rate to its highest level in the last 40 years. As of now, it's still at just over 5%. Whatever the Fed does with the official interest rate, all the banks (& anyone who issues loans) follow. So in the US, interest rates in general have been higher for some time. High interest rates are bad for borrowers (people paying the mortgage on their homes are having a rough time right now), but they're good for people with savings. If you have any kind of savings account, any interest that accrues on it is basically free money.

Cleanup on aisle 4
@PineTreeTree ohhh! I know what that conversation is on about... The time that old guy walking down isle 4, let out a fart that could stun 20 cows, unfortunately everyone on isle 4 at that unfortunate moment, well their head's exploded.
@PineTreeTree Do you work in retail?
(If so, I feel sorry for you. Retail is a hard field to work in, especially these days)
@slowdecline48 shhhh Tiny thinks I’m a lawyer. I work on aisle 3, that’s why I know everything that goes on on aisle 4 😂
@Tinywhisper11 next sentence...
I don't have enough room for that
@Tinywhisper11 next sentence
Stop that! Heyyyy! Don't do that, jeez! People there days
People walking around falling into fountains while playing Pokémon Go XD
@Tinywhisper11 next sentence..
I didn't think that would happen! Not in a million years
@Tinywhisper11 I think their talking about making a real version of Jurassic park😁
@Tinywhisper11 I surely hope so. If a pack of velociraptors managed to escape & start breeding in the wild, I for one would be thrilled...at least initially. Humans need some kind of intelligent adversary to put us in our place.
@Tinywhisper11 next sentence..
Do you really need to keep this
@Tinywhisper11 A couple moving in together and arguing about an ugly lamp
@PineTreeTree I bet it was the man who had kept the ugly lamp.. Cause girls for better taste😁
@Tinywhisper11 It’s always the same old bad taste in lamps stereo type you girls label us with. Every landfill is littered with broken lamps and broken dreams because you are turned off by our lamps. But you turn us on so we say that we don’t need the damn lamp because YOU light up our lives. But deep inside we cry thinking about the lamp that once was 😢
Marie Kondo’s less gentle cousin ;)

Nah! I'm not like that
@Tinywhisper11 One of the care home residents was trying to take you into his room for some fun time, wasn't he?
😜
@slowdecline48 dude wtf
@PineTreeTree Just so you know:
- Me & Lola know each other fairly well. I don't joke like that with just anyone around here.
- She is quite familiar with my sense of humor. I also remember what she told me about her living situation...it's quite safe, if also a bit odd.
- I've posted "working blue" replies to Lo's threads in the Icebreakers and Games forum before. Thus far, she seems to be amused by them.
- If a decent girl like @Tinywhisper11 said something like "nah, I'm not like that" to somebody, well...what else would it be about? 😏
@slowdecline48 did you just call me odd????😮😮😮😮
😂😂😂😂😂yeah! I know how your mind works. Tut. Tut. Tut
😂😂😂
@Tinywhisper11 Not you, but your living situation. You're the only twentysomething in a care home full of old codgers, facryinoutloud... But hey, if you're odd then own it! At this point in my life, if someone calls me "weird", "strange", "crazy" or some similar term then I don't give a wet fart in a windstorm about it...figure it just means that person doesn't understand me.
@slowdecline48 Your mother probably warned you not to play with certain things because it was going to poke someone’s eye out. Probably none of your friends ever got their eye poked out, but it was still good advice.
@PineTreeTree I'm sure she did, though I don't remember if she said that specifically... What I do remember is her long, strange, incoherent lectures after I screwed up in some way. She meant well, but my mother's basic problem was that she wasn't very bright.

I don't know what happened! But the whole thing just blew up
You need to stop cooking that stuff on the kitchen counter. I know it's great when people buy it, but it's dangerous to make.
