Am I in the wrong for being upset?

Dawnie0203 July 20th, 2023

so I (nb 20) met this friend a couple months ago and we became close real quick so I introduced them to my best friend and they also got close and i started to feel left out. Skip to the last few days and the new friend rarely answers me but with text back my friend. I asked if everything was okay and they proceeded to say that things were good they just wanted some space and then I find out that last night when my best friend was supposed to meet her step sister things came up and she didn’t but instead my new friend asked her to go to a concert with her and they both went to the concert while both have been quite with me recently.

let me know what you think, am I allowed to be upset?

It's normal you feel upset, It feels like they have been leaving you out. I think you should try to talk to them again, maybe even face to face, and tell them how you feel and ask for explanation. If they care, they would listen to you and would be honest.

Remember all your feelings are valid, if you feel upset about something, no matter what big or small is It, it's ok to feel like this. Never feel bad about yourself for feeling a certain way.

I think communication can be helpful if both people care about each other. If you see they just won't explain or feel open to talk things out, then it's their loss.

Still, I hope things will work out well💪
