Friends have left me
I had a nasty breakup a few months ago and I was starting to recover around the holidays, my friends supported me in the months since my ex partner dumped me.
However I got a couple of messages from them today saying they no longer want to engage with me. I knew they were still talking with my ex on social media and they said they had learned more details about the breakup.
I don’t know if my ex is getting some kind of revenge by making me lose my friends but it appears to be working.

When this happens and my question is how good of friends are these people? .......when they do that .... i could see saying "hey, did you know your ex is saying this about your breakup? " and perhaps discussing if the item bother them.
By their reaction of saying they did not want to engage with you ...... whatever was said ......they must believe. I am sorry you are most likely needing to start over and make new friends.
Yeah, it’s likely. The argument that led to the relationship breaking down with my ex was about me going to a nightclub with my friends. My ex assumed I was going to cheat and didn’t accept my apologies or attempts to make amends.

So they are holding a assumption against you....... that is even worse .... did people never learn the truth in every situation is often in the middle .... and taking sides based on he said or she said sounds like JR high tactics.
I am at a loss as to why so many seemingly want to always create drama where there is none ..... maybe she wants to feel the victim and has said your attempt to make amends says you did cheat etc.....
I'm in the same situation but had a huge break up of a friendship group back in August now I feel like I have nobody as our friends were the same people and have all taken to staying her friend and not mine anymore but give no reason as to why.
