You cannot call it a family if you are not close to every other one. Back in time, the mother's and father's sister's sister's daughter's son were close by. But in today's terms and conditions, literally, it just consists of the mother, father, and sibling, if any are there.
Practically, we are not closest to anyone. Every other person in your family knows a little bit about you. No one knows the complete story. Either they don't know, or you don't tell the complete story to anyone.
If you call the internet and gadgets your family, then you can say you are closest to your gadgets and social media accounts.
i guess mom since she isnt overbearing like my dad is, and my sister cant even talk. other family members live in another country.

my brother Lani closest favorite person whole world ! I can tell him any thing always there for me always come see me we do fun stuff lot and some times goes my therapys with me because hard time to me

I'm closest to my younger brother. We've developed a strong bond, particularly because our parents haven't always been the most supportive. While we understand that nobody is perfect, we've both experienced feelings of neglect throughout our lives. Our shared experiences have brought us closer together, and we've become each other's source of comfort and understanding. Through mutual support, we've found solace in our relationship and have become pillars of strength for one another.
I'm closest to my parents but strangers have been supportive at occassions and times.
@tommy I am very close to my elder sister. She is like my soulmate. We have 8 years age gap but we act like we are the same age. I talk to her a lot and we know each other the best.
It's confusing really🤔 I'm close to my nuclear family and one cousin, but I haven't been home for over 5 years now, and we don't talk everyday

@tommy The person closest to me is my little brother. We have always been there for eachother when needed and seem to know when the other needs space.I know I am always able to go to him and ask for help with whatever I need.
Everyone deserves someone that will be with them this way.Whether family or not.
@sethsanchez139 For me that's just direct family. But in the end, I am the person who cares the most about me and my actions. Strangers are definitely not going to care and they will suggest inappropriate or incorrect things such as that I have to take more risks. No, I am good the way I am.
