Hi I'm Rain. I have bullimic episodes and bindge eating episodes. Lovely to meet you all.
@Superlittleecho
Superlittlecho, you are very welcome. Tell us more about what's going on with you, and how we can be helpful. Hope to see you active around.
@Traveller8
Thanks. I seem to go from wanting to bindge eat then I feel bad and parionia about it so I make myself sick. Then other times I don't eat at all. I have voices too that egg me on so that doesn't help. I don't have motivation to eat sometimes as it keeps you alive and that's not seeming so great to me. So yeah, food is my enemy.
@Superlittleecho
Hi Rain, I recently joined the community and I also suffer from binging and bulimic episodes. Over social distancing, this dilemma made it easier for me to continue with these episodes
Hi, so im still struggling with eating and feeling hungry........does anybody have any tips for someone who is struggling with hunger?
@LittleWaterbear
Hello <3 I'm new to the ED subcommunity and I actually originally got into therapy because my doctor thought I might have an eating disorder, but turns out I don't I just have some symptoms but anyways, I'm passionate about making sure people feel confident in their bodies and my heart goes out for all who are currently struggling with ED. I'm here for you and you got this! Y'all are SO strong for going through what you have to go through <3
@LittleWaterbear
Welcome LittleWaterbear. I'm sure some other members of the community will share their experiences with you. What I can tell you is that hunger is a signal from your body for you to listen, it's telling you that there's something you need. Hopefully this link can help you:

@Traveller8 thank you for the information. Im reading it and its helpful in reminding me that i need to pay attention to my cravings. I would always ignore my cravings and stuff.........but now Ive started trying to cook for myself and im trying to get used to eating everyday.....at least three times a day.
@LittleWaterbear
Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that and also sorry that I accidentally replied to your comment without any sort of suggestion. If you need to talk feel free to pm me and I'm glad traveller gave you some tips :) we're here for you!
@TheAtticusFinch hey its ok. Its the thought that counts. Thanks for your concern.
I never thought I had an eating disorder. In fact, I'm still not comfortable with it. I've been comfortable with depression for a long time, I know that's a weird way to put it, but I never tied the two together. It's really intertwined for me but I keep blaming my depression when I need to admit I have a voice rewarding me for every meal I miss.
Hey. I'm new here. EDNOS is ruining my life. Please help :(
@OboeLady hi lovely! I really feel you I'm sorry but you're more than your ED even if it's that level of consuming
Hi! New to this app, decided I should give something a try because I haven't done so hot on my own. This might be a long post ahah. I'm a college student currently back at home due to covid closing down campus and the struggle I knew was coming is here. In high school I had a pretty bad relationship with food, which turned into bulimic episodes the last two years. Once I went to college, things were better when I was living in the dorm. I still struggled with old habits coming home (summer, Christmas, etc) but it was easier for me to deal and I could get out of the house to distract myself. Well, now with social distancing I can't just get out of the house. I've done okay so far with eating pretty healthy, but today I started slipping into binging. I really don't want to go back down that path but I'm not sure what to do. Any tips are welcome! Lovely to meet you all :)
@genericusername43

Hello (:
I just today finished college for social work and I am sooo excited to begin my career in the helping profession. That being said before I go and do that I really need to focus on some self care right now. I have been struggling with purging for 10 years and it reached an unmanageable point for me during this quarantine. I don't want to keep doing this, I just want to be able to eat and live normally.
I have never looked for help with this issue and hope that I can get something out of this site and this community specifically that can help me until I am able to go see a therapist in person.
Hi everyone! I'm a recovering anorexic and compulsive overeater. This is my first time here and I'm looking for some general support/tips on recovery. I feel very isolated in my recovery as I moved away from my family and friends a couple of months ago. There isn't a lot of people I can talk to about my ED, which makes me feel extremely lonely. It's good to see that there are people out there that share similar experiences!
Hi all,
I'm new to this site and thought I'd join as I'm just coming to terns with it and feeling a little lonely. Also wondering if chest aches are normal? It doesn't feel like indigestion or heartburn but started taking gaviscon and multivitamins, just incase. I haven't told my friends or family yet as I don't think I can at the moment. If anyone wants to chat, then I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance and take care everyone. X
