I can't feel appetite to eat
Idk what is happening, but. It's been months since I've been able to feel like eating, when I eat I can only eat basically nothing on the plate. Today I only had water at 11 am and at 2 pm I ate a small candy cuz my brother gave me. I stayed until 9 o'clock without eating and without any desire to eat, but then my mother barged into my room and gave me some bananas, I ate them because she told me to and I didn't want to leave her disappointed. But I didn't want to eat, I didn't feel like eating, I had no appetite.
I Dunno if this can be a part of the category friendos 🫂 have a good day/evening/night. Take care ♡

I'm really glad that you posted. It must be really difficult to go so long and not feel like eating but knowing that you need to eat and having food brought to you. I am glad that you are eating, even though it's such a small amount.Â
Have you talked to anyone about the struggle to eat and not having an appetite? What has helped you to try to eat when you know your body needs food but you don't want to eat?
Yes, I've already spoken to my parents, especially my mother and all she says is that I'm just sick of the food I normally eat or just ignored me. But I don't think that's it, I absolutely have no desire to eat something, even if it's my favorite dish.
Recently I've only been eating a little of what my mother cooks. Example: She makes an delicious meal with meat, rice, French fries and boiled eggs and I can only eat half of the fries. I think nothing really helped me, I just force myself to eat as much as I can (less than half the plate) because my mother tells me to eat.

Hi Niki, thank you for being brave enough to share your struggles with the community here at 7cups <3 I went through similar struggles when I was battling my eating disorder, and even now that I'm recovered appetite is a more abstract concept compared to others. For me, having scheduled times for eating helped my body to expect food and hopefully send hunger signals if I missed the time. Another thing that helped me was having easy to eat foods on hand (which where things like sweets, lunch meat, drinks... for me). Do you have any foods that you can eat that don't require much mental effort? Of course everyone is different and I hope you are able to find what works for you!Â
I think that food would be a drink, which is just water.. But maybe I can try find any food that i can eat without trouble.. I guess I'll try with a small strawberry candy? :)
Can I do the same as you and try to have this scheduled times to eat? Maybe it will help me to be able to eat again without struggling.. I'm trying all the options that can help me with this =w="
