Support for auto immune disease

Angel75 January 3rd, 2017

Hi all,

I wanted to start a support group for anyone with an auto immune disease to share worries, conditions, support etc.

I hope it is useful.

@Angel75 Thanks for starting this!

Psoriasis is the only autoimmune disorder I know I have and why it's painful and annoying at times mine stays within the mild/moderate range and sometimes I have no spots at all. My PID though does make me more susceptible to developing certain autoimmune disorders though.

Knowing it may have contributed to the psoriasis developing as well as other immune issues I have like asthma ezcema and allergies my bigger worry is developing something more serious like lupus which I know would also complicate dealing with my PID.

@AffyAvo hi

I have rheumatoid arthritis and ulcerative colitis which are 2 auto immune diseases. I am also at risk of lupus as well. It's tough isn't it?

Sometimes I cope ok and then other times like now I just want it all to go away.

I feel for you. X

That will be nice!heart

I got my blood test 2 or 3 times, and my doctor said that the result is still negative but it got closer and closer to auto immune disease (he suspect it's RA). Now i have to take some medicine for 6 month to see if it's got better ( i think?).
